“Long drive?” - Jennie asked, peeking up to look in his eyes while he nods in assurance.

Both of them were cuddled up in the living room as the television in front of them played a kdrama, Taehyung's fingers gently combed through her hair as he lowly hums a melody every now and then when the drama would become boring. He wasn't a big fan of watching TV shows, for now he was fulfilling his girlfriend's wish.

“Yes, a long late night drive.” - His eyes divert to look at her as she sits up, thinking about his offer. It was a good one indeed, she loved drives but at the same time she hesitated because of the thought that Haerim would be alone.

“What about your cousin?” - Before he could even answer her question, a sleepy voice was heard from the stairs as Haerim pokes her head out from behind the wall.

“I'm going to sleep, I'm tired.” - She excuses herself and climbs back upstairs making Taehyung chuckle.

“Well that answers your question. So?” - Since it was enough to convince her already, she stands up from the couch with a smile on her lips.

“I'll just go and change into something warm.” - He mirrored her smile and nodded as he extended his arm to grab the TV remote while Jennie hurried upstairs.

She came back downstairs only ten minutes later, all dressed up in a white turtleneck sweater and black high-rise baggy jeans. Her medium-length hair fell down her shoulders as the natural curls in them were left untouched. Her look was simple yet classy and she never failed to look adorable in his eyes, maybe it was his affection but she was pretty anyway. Even when her face was completely make-up free.

“I'm afraid there aren't enough words for me to describe your beauty, princess.” - She blushed, the natural pink tint on her cheeks and nose getting darker as she stepped closer to him and brushed a soft kiss to his cheek.

“I'm flattered, but you don't need to compliment me every time I dress up.” - He raised his eyebrow, circling his arms around her petite waist as he pulled her closer making their bodies come in contact.

“Why not? I love telling the truth.” - She giggled and pulled away, not wanting for him to possibly start eating her right there in the living room, it wasn't like she minded it but the long drive seemed more fun at the moment.

“Don't start again, let's go.” - He cheekily smiled and engulfed her small hand in his as he placed a kiss to her knuckles before pulling her outside with him, making sure to make her wear her coat since he couldn't risk getting her sick.

The weather outside was colder than ever as the wind blew like it was in a hurry. Their breaths turned into puffs of white smoke because of the minus degree temperature, the temperature had dropped a lot because of the snow.

“It's so cold.” - Jennie expressed as Taehyung hurriedly unlocked his car and opened the door for her to sit inside, closing it afterwards as he went to the other side and entered the car as well.

“I'll turn the heater on.” - He closed the door and pressed his finger on a button as the heater got turned on making the car warmer in just a few minutes.

A sigh of relief left her lips as she slumped back into the seat to get more comfortable while Taehyung started the car's engine, wasting no time as he pulled out of the driveway and took off.
