~Sebastian~

I waited until I saw Pip and Delilah were with Stephen and turned back around to Patrick and his waste of oxygen second in command.

"I'm giving you 3 seconds-"

"I'd watch your tone with me Patrick."

"Watch my tone? You're a thief. That money was mine." I laughed.

"I've met some stupid men in my life Patrick, but you take the top place. You didn't read your stupid contract."

"I did." I raised an eyebrow, pulled my copy from the inside pocket of my jacket, flipping two pages and pointing to where it said the money paid belonged to Poppy. He snatched it from my hand.

"You'll also see clause 16.3. Delilah O'Neill falls under my protection in the event her life is threatened. Now I didn't think I'd have to pull that one. Poppy made me put it in. But I didn't think 4 months into our marriage I'd receive notification that my mother-in-law is having surgery for internal bleeding." He flicked through, finally reading all the crap I got him to agree to. Simply by putting that I wouldn't harm his daughter at the top. "Pair that with this piece of crap putting his hands on my wife tonight, I'm just about done with playing nice for my wife's sake."

"And what are you going to do?" Cian smirked. I'll snap his neck if he looks at me like that one more time. Fuck anyone watching.

"This is forged. You're a liar. You stole the money from my fucking bank- DELILAH."

"Now Now Patrick. You're making a scene and we all know how much you hate that. I'd quieten down if I was you. This doesn't need to get out of hand."

"YOU'VE KIDNAPPED MY WIFE."

"You nearly killed her. You signed that dotted line confirming I could take her if you did."

"I DIDN'T READ YOUR FUCKING CONTRACT." The man turned crimson, that vein so close to bursting I was concerned it would ruin my perfectly clean suit shirt.

"That's not my problem. You of all people should know to read your small print."

"I'll fucking kill you Di Leo."

"Try it. I'd love to see how that goes down for your daughter who knows how to shoot and fight back now. She's pretty pissed about the past 21 years, you're lucky as it is that I've convinced her I will handle these... problems." Cian pulled his gun out, pointing it straight at my head and the room seemed to empty as the boys did the same, aiming for Poppy's family. I sighed and took my gun out calmly. "Anyway, I just wanted to confirm with you that that's the last of my fulfilments on the contract that had any kind of time limit. I will help Delilah file for divorce in the coming weeks. As for you," I turned to Cian. "I thought 3 messages would be enough of a warning about you touching my wife. I was hoping I would see that in effect tonight. That you'd do the right thing and put your family first. The warning I sent a month ago about those girls' bruises. I think you're starting to take me for a man who gives chance after chance and never follows through aren't you?" I shot through both his kneecaps, watching him crumble to the floor and scream out in pain. I kicked him over, pressing a foot down over his knee. "I'm not going to kill you Cian. I wouldn't give you that fucking benefit nor would I take it away from the girl who deserves to watch you die slow because of what you put her through but make no mistake. You lay one more finger on my wife, you breathe in her direction, I will not hesitate," I pressed down harder forcing him to look up at me as he groaned. "to make her put a bullet in every single inch of your body over the course of months, years maybe. I will put you through so much agony, death will be welcomed but I will keep it just out of reach. So, you are begging her for forgiveness. Do you understand?" He nodded and I took my foot off him, standing up straight, tightening my tie.
