Avery's POV
"Wake up!" A voice shouted in my ear causing me to jolt, I glared at Jacob who smiled innocently "little fucker" I growl at him. "She speaks!" He cheers happily and does a little dance. Shaking my head at him I look around.

I was in a luxury room on a soft bed. "Welcome to the Caribbean!" Jacob smiles, "breakfast is served soon, shower and get ready" he winks and slips from the room. I sighed softly and run a hand through my hair.

How did I end up here? My life when from happy for sad in the matter of minutes, now I'm running from the love of my life! Ava wasn't calling to Eros anymore, she wasn't showing any emotions like me.

We were ruined. I laid a hand on my stomach and smiled when I felt a kick, at least I have my two little boys to keep me happy. Sadly I had to go and get ready, lord knows what twits would do without supervision.

I took a long needed bath, and shaved while I was at it. When I was done I dressed in sweats and a a t-shirt that was a nice sky blue. I braided my hair into a final tail off to the side and walked down the stairs, the twits were arguing over something.

Clearing my throat their chatter drifted off and they stared at me, their eyes looked everywhere but me. Telling me they were keeping something from. I shot them an icy glare, cold enough to freeze the Caribbean. "Jesus, stop staring into my soul!" Jake cries and covers his eyes.

I smile in triumph and walk over and sit across from them. Jake gulped, "Eros called again" he says slowly, eyeing me the whole time. I mask my face and my eyes ice over, "he said he'd wait as long as he'd have to, he is done playing your silly games" he quotes the love of my life.

My chest tightens making it hard to breath, he was basically saying goodbye. He jumped to conclusions, now he would suffer the consequences. Calvin and Jake new my answer just from looking into my eyes, "are you sure Avery?" Cal asks softly taking my hand in his.

Ava was whimpering in my head, 'we are better then this! We don't need a man to make us happy' I tell her passionately. Giving his hand a squeeze I smile genuinely at them and nod. Jake doesn't look shocked, but instead proud.

Standing up we hug each other tightly, "I'm so proud of you little sis" he whispers in my ear and places a brotherly kiss on my forehead. When we break away Calvin makes us chocolate chip pancakes much to my delight then we spend the day watching movies and swimming.
_______
"Hey" Calvin comments and joins me on the front steps of the house where I was looking at the stars. I give him a weak smile, "Avery I know this is a tough time. But we are so proud of you, your pregnant with twins and you have the courage to leave your mate" he shakes his head.

"And I'm sorry about Eros" the mention of his name makes my heart throb, "he shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. If he would have given you the room to speak he wouldn't have the lost the best thing that happened to him" he says softly, I offer him a smile.

I know he can see right through it, my eyes held no emotion. Right now I was only worried about my babies and their future. I wanted them to grow up living a full and happy life.

Even if it was without their father, then so be it!

Eros's POV
I watched the punching bag fly across the room and land in a piles of the other. That was the fifth one I had ruined. Since Avery left I had slipped into a cold, hot tempered Alpha who no one dared to speak to.

Only my Beta and Third talked to me.

The other were either to scared or hated my guts, and frankly I didn't care. They could hate me all they want, it wasn't going to make me feel bad. I was passed feeling bad, I didn't feel anything.

I will wait until my childish mate decides to grow up and come back to me. I'm tired of chasing after her! This isn't cat and mouse, this is the real world. This isn't a fairy tale, she wasn't going to wake up being kissed by a prince.

There was no prince, there was no fairy tale.

There was only the cold hard truth.

If she wants to go off, fine. But I won't follow her, I will wait for her to realize her mistake and and come back to me. No matter how long it takes I will wait.

"Dude you need to calm down" the voice of my best friend Thaddeus breaks me from my own word. "I'm fine" I growl and chug my water. "No, your clearly not" he argues making me snarl at him, my eyes set ablaze. "DO. NOT. TELL. ME. WHAT. TO. DO" I sneer at him in Alpha command.

"Yes Alpha" he mumbles and sags his shoulders, "good. Now leave" I command him. He glares at me and silently slips from the room. I move over to a practice dummy and begin to pummel it.

Thaddeus's POV
I move around my room swiftly packing mind and my packs bag. "What are you doing?" She asks me confused, "we are leaving" I tell her while shoving more clothes into the bag. Avery's family was going to meet her in an unknown destination, I'll be damned if me and my mate stay here.

"Why?" She asks softly while hugging me from behind. "I can't risk him hurting you" I tell her softly, I turn and kiss her forehead. Understanding is clear in her eyes as her grabs two more duffle bags and starts packing with me.

"Take this to Keller and Alex's floor, tell them we are waking with them" I command her softly. She nods and grabs three bags, one on both arms and she wears on like a back pack. With a kiss she runs out the door.

I take the other three bags and write a note, sorry my friend.

Alpha

I'm leaving. It's your fault Avery left. She was the best thing that ever happened to you, and you pushed her away.

Don't shut everyone out.

-Your Beta

With one last glance at my room I bolt after my mate.
