“I’m getting married!” I sang as I did the dishes. I’m seven and a half months pregnant now and I’ve been engaged for exactly two weeks and three days. I’m having the time of my life. Zane is amazing and if he knew that I had been doing the dishes while he was at work he’d be super angry, I’m not allowed to do anything! He cleans, he does the washing, cooking. So basically the only thing I’m allowed to do is go to the bathroom and shower. It’s horrible I can’t do anything.

But I suppose it is sweet considering he works all day and when he comes home he has to put up with my whining and moaning and then he cooks, cleans and does everything I’m not allowed to. I’m so big now that I get tired and grumpy quite easily and I’m end up taking out my frustrations on him. And I know that it’s not fair to poor Zane but I can’t help it.

“Gabrielle Rubi Richards what the heck do you think you’re doing?” Zane yelled when walked in to the kitchen, I think he’s home early?

“Hi Zaney!” I cooed flicking some bubbles at him. He rolled his eyes and pulled me out of the kitchen and made me sit down.

“Why were you doing house work?” he demanded.

I giggled; he’s cute when he’s angry. “Zaaaane! I’m pregnant I’m not disabled! I can wash the dishes!”  I moaned, I wasn’t tired or anything I just felt like complaining, sometimes I feel like I’m in prison. That about all you do in prison isn’t it? Eat, shower and go to the toilet?

“I don’t want you to lift a finger Gabi.” He smiled sweetly at me as he pushed me down on the couch and sat next to me wrapping a protective arm around me.

“But I like lifting my fingers!” I protested.

Zane groaned. “If I take you out to dinner, spoil you and buy you a milkshake will you stop lifting fingers?” he asked hopefully. I laugh.

“Maybe.” I sing with a cheeky grin.

“Well you better.” He chuckled. “Otherwise I might have to get my mom to come around during the day, so I knew you won’t lift a finger.”

“Can we go to the mall and buy more baby stuff?” I asked eagerly.

“Hmm, that sounds like something that’ll keep you out of mischief for a while… I was thinking on the weekend we could decorate the baby room; get ready for the big arrival. I’m sure it’s not that hard to build a crib.” He suggested. I nodded eagerly realizing that I hadn’t kissed him when he came inside.

“That’s a great idea.” I said kissing his cheek.

“So go get dressed and we’ll go to the mall and I’ll take you out to dinner. Would you like that?” Zane asked.

“I would love that.” I cooed at my fiancé (oh man I love saying that).

“I also have another project for you that’ll keep you occupied for the next few weeks, well at least until the baby is born.” He said as I got off the couch and walked upstairs.
