*Aaliyah's P.O.V*

I manage to escape the splash wars relatively undamaged. Sure my bathroom floor was super slippery now but it would dry...hopefully. If not I could always just use magic to fix it. I flex my fingers slightly, feeling the swell of magic from deep down inside me resonate with the movement.

I get dressed as I ponder these thoughts, Etol following right behind me as I go to open my bedroom door. Like clockwork, Miachel shows up within a moment and smiles at me. I move to sit on the bed, turning my back to him.

I hear the soft noise his shoes make on the carpet. He rummages through my vanity drawer before coming over, starting to brush my damp hair. He starts at the ends, carefully making his way upwards. I sigh as I can feel some of the tension in my body drain just from having him brush my hair. I summon a book to read, hoping that I don't lose any pages like last time I had tried to summon one.

"Maybe you should refrain on using magic until you have your wards set up?" Miachel asks.

"Why would I do that?" I ask, my eyebrows furrowing.

"So they can't track you or what spells you're doing.," Miachel says dryly, having a very good point that I sort of wished I had thought of.

"I don't really care," I finally say despite the fact that I very much do care. "I mean it's not like I'm doing anything illegal and if they want to be nosey, they'll find a way to be nosey," I shrug my shoulders, earning a light smack on the shoulder from the hair brush.

"Ow!" I exclaim as I glance back at Miachel who simply rolls his eyes.

"Don't move," Miachel says, earning a scoff from me. I couldn't believe that he would take it upon himself to act like such a mom.

"Okay mom," I scoff, earning another smack on my other shoulder.

"Kids these days, so disrespectful," Zero laments. I turn my head slightly, seeing her going through my closet.

"I am not that much younger than either of you," I protest at her mean words, giving her a dirty look when she has the audacity to scoff.

"Still young enough that we can boss you around," Zero sticks her tongue out at me and I huff as Miachel grabs my chin and makes me turn my head back so I'm staring straight ahead.

"You both bully me. I pity any child that you two have," I say, earning a wounded noise from Zero. I can hear the dress she was holding drop to the floor as she dramatically collapses.

"How could you say such a thing? We're clearly going to be the best parents," Miachel scolds, acting like he's going to hit my shoulder with the brush again and I squeal, throwing myself across the bed. Etol grumbles where she is under the bed, slowly crawling out from under the bed.

"Etol, they're being mean to me," I whine as I cross my arms, looking down at my dragon who has the audacity to just yawn at what I say. "I could turn you into a purse, be nice to me," I hiss to my dragon, leaning down to be in her face and she nips my nose.

"Even your dragon thinks you're the one in the wrong," Miachel informs me, making me roll my eyes. He tries to crawl over the bed to get to me and I dart around it.

"Too slow old man," I stick my tongue out, squealing when he just hurls himself off the bed and towards me. I duck to the ground, hearing him crash into the wall which does make me giggle.

"Do you find my pain funny little Aaliyah?" Miachel groans from where he lays on the floor. I nod as I crawl over to Zero who was still laying on the floor, using my dress as a pillow as she pretends to ignore us.

"You love me too much to sleep right now," I inform her, prying her arms open and crawling into them. She sighs as her arms wrap around me, letting me almost lay on top of her. I smile as I bury my face into her neck, her fingernails scratching up and down my back.

"That is my wife you're laying on you know," Miachel points out, sounding amused. I don't bother to lift my head up, just lifting my hand up to flip him off. I have to move my hand around a bit before he sees it, earning a gasp.

"Don't flip Miachel off," Zero says as her hand stops scratching my back just to grab my hand and bring it down so I can't continue flipping him off.

"Tell him he needs to share then," I sulk into her neck, earning a soft chuckle from her.

"I don't want to share, tell her that Zero," Miachel says. I can feel Zero's chest vibrate as she chuckles softly.

"I have two arms, I can cuddle with both of you," Zero offers and I whine, moving to grab her arms and try to wrap them around me.

"Zero, tell her she can't do that," Miachel says dramatically and I can hear him step closer. I turn my head, showing my fangs as I hiss at him before hiding my face back into Zero's neck. "Did you see her absolute disrespect towards me?" Miachel asks.

"Oh shush, she can't help the fact that she needs cuddles more than you," Zero huffs as her hand moves to rest on the back of my head as she slowly sits up. I wrap my legs around her waist, smiling when she doesn't try and get me to let go.

"I am your husband," Miachel whines.

"And she is just a little baby, she clearly needs me," Zero states as she slowly stands up, letting me cling to her.

"Yeah, I need her more," I say as I turn my head to look at Miachel and stick my tongue out at him. He narrows his eyes and I can tell he wants to take me away but he can't because Zero's grip is like iron on my legs so that I can just cling to her all I want.

"I will have my revenge," he mouths, making me nod my head even though a giggle tries to escape me at his empty threat. Zero won't let him do anything to me so I'm safe.
