There was a presence next to him and Jimin looked up again to spot the last person he needed, Taehyung.
"Hi," Taehyung waved awkwardly sitting down on the corridor's floor by his side.
Jimin sighed stopping the song to pull the right EarPod out.
"I mean, I'm sorry to bother, but it seemed like you could need a friend," muttered Taehyung.
"I guess I need some loneliness now."
"People are saying you have argued with Yoongi. I mean, I don't have any harm in mind, just wanted to let you know that in case you need a friend I'm here."
Jimin nodded, what could he say, that Taehyung was ready to sacrifice his soulmate love to help him.
"Thanks, I'll keep in in mind," he whispered.
"Ok, so... I'll go now. Take care," Taehyung smiled awkwardly jumping up to leave down the corridor.
Maybe I should give him a chance, spoke that tiny voice at the back of Jimin's mind.
"Jimin, maybe you should take a few days off from training," Handi, his dance teacher stopped him after the evening class.
"What do you mean?"
"Your head just isn't there, your heart isn't..."
"I get," Jimin closed his fists.
Maybe he will get the lowest grade in dance class this semester, but nothing could bother him anymore. The past days were just one long period of heartbreak and misery, no sign from Jungkook.
Call, Jungkook's words came back in his head.
The goosebumps this thought was causing were dangerous, he should forget Jungkook once and for all and not make it worse, but his mind couldn't unglue from the images of their nights, Jungkook's hands and lips all over him.
"What now?" Jimin was now leaving the dance studio to stop on the street and glance at his phone.
Was it smart to give away how much he needed it, but his fingers found that one contact he pressed.
"Hi," Jungkook took a loud breath in.
"Hi, um..."
"I'm finishing my training with Tony, where should I pick you up?"
"I'm after my dance class, will head to Tony's studio and meet you there," Jimin was now horribly blushing to the phone, sweating all over.
"Sure, see you soon," Jungkook ended the call in his unbothered manner that could make Jimin yell all possible insults at him for not caring the slightest.
He's my antisoulmate, I have to accept that, he was telling himself, trying his best to fight the arousal and excuses he was making when he turned finding the shortest way towards the bus stop.
There was a humid drizzle building up over the city, rainy season was slowly starting. Soon the streets will turn into floating rivers, the sky will cloud for weeks and he will use his flip flops daily. It was easier to think about ordinary things like weather not his burning heart, so Jimin was rather observing the city and people during the bus ride. Analyzing his situation would be too depressive.
Finally the bus rolled onto the station close to Tony's studio, so Jimin stormed it diving between the blocks into a narrow backstreet, taking a shortcut next to a convenience store, his heart beating up louder with each step.
There was the black company van parked at the back entrance. The door of the studio was pushed open swiftly and Jimin stopped, confronted with the sight of his lover, so stunning it made his legs weak. Jungkook was walking towards the car tying his hair up, but stopped abruptly turning towards the other end of the narrow street.
"Hey!" There was a low voice filling the night and Jimin scooped to the convenience store wall glancing behind the corner to spot Taehyung walking up towards the company car.
Jungkook's security stepped forward protectively, but he lifted his hand giving them a sign not to interfere.
"May I help you?" He asked not so pleasantly.
"We need to speak about Jimin," Taehyung approached when Jimin's insides made an unpleasant flip.
"Who?" Jungkook laughed.
"Your backup dancer."
"Ah, that boy. He's not working for me anymore," he muttered turning towards the car.
"Listen!" Taehyung raised his voice. "It will end like in all the previous lives and you exactly know that you will kill him, but this time forever..." Taehyung's voice cracked when Jimin turned unable to listen to that anymore, so he ran as far from here as possible, watching Taehyung trying to beat Jungkook up for it was pointless, so he was sprinting down the alley like a drunk man, falling against trash containers, almost being overrun by a scooter, that tooted loudly.
"Watch out!" Someone shouted and he was pulled by his arm abruptly when a car just missed him for inches.
Jimin stumbled, but someone supported him from falling and he looked up to spot a total stranger in torn used clothes, with deep dark rings underneath his eyes.
"Do you want to kill yourself!" The man yelled.
"I... don't..." that whisper left Jimin's lips voicing out the whole confusion of his miserable life.
"Looks like that," the man let go off him rubbing his face.
"Thanks for... saving me," Jimin blushed, it was all embarrassing enough.
"No big deal," the guy crouched down by a building wall. "I'm Hoseok by the way, you can call me Hope, because I have no hope left," a bitter smile sliced the man's face.
"Jimin," he introduced himself walking up to crouch down next to his unexpected savior.
"So, what has happened to you?" Hoseok caught his gaze.
"I don't know anymore. It's all because of my antisoulmate."
"Antisoulmate!" Hoseok cried out in horror.
"Yes, guess I'm unlucky," Jimin sighed.
"Unlucky? Man, you're doomed."
"Why?"
"Damn. I have seen it only once in one of my past lives and I'm terrified forever," Hoseok's hands trembled.

Thank you so much for your support, it really means a lot to me. I hope you enjoyed the chapter. What do you think about everything that has happened? What will Hoseok tell Jimin?
