"Perfect." Oakley responds to me asking him how I look.

I brush off his comment and flatten out the front of the dress, he stands up and leans forward to pull my dress down in the back.
"Don't bend over too far."

He was being nice and it wasn't weird, but I felt odd with the new interaction. But I was here, and he was here and sometimes he would act like he cared so I would fall into it, because there was nothing else for me do. I haven't had a shoulder to cry on since my dad and brother died.

I walked out before him and said hello to everyone again, and took a seat. The two seats available were between a girl and Oakleys mom, I took the seat next to the girl and Oakley sat next to his mom.

I caught a glimpse of her bracelet, and I've only ever seen that bracelet once before. "Hey, where'd you get that bracelet?" I asked her.

"Oh he gave it to me." She pointed to Wadz, "Wait...Andy?"

"Ameena?" My heart raced with excitement, "Yeah it's me!" We hugged each other tightly, and I caught a glimpse of Wadz' face as he looked behind me.

"What are you doing here? You just left the bookshop I thought you went back home." She says giving me her full attention.

"I go back home in a few weeks I think, yeah I just got really sick. I'm sorry I didn't tell you anything." We hugged again, and we caught up. Ameena explained to me she was still in school, and that about a month ago Wadz asked her to come down and help take care of a sick friend, and she couldn't because she had to take extra classes.

And the more it simmered it occurred to me that I was the sick friend he was calling her for, and I'm glad she couldn't come down. I'm sad I may have went that long without any physical company, but I'd been fine all this time in London alone. Time wasn't a concept for me when I wasn't awake, it could've been hours, days, weeks or even months I didn't know.

That hospital stay was just different, because physically I was alone but mentally I was with Declan. He still looked nineteen years old, and he was wearing my favorite green shirt of his.

The hibachi chef began to cook in front of us and my favorite part was when he made a heart with the rice, and made the rice heart beat. Ameena and I had took to nearly chugging our glasses of champagne, as we chatted.

"You girls be careful now. You two alone have taken down two bottles." Wadz says to us as the last of the food was cooked, and plated to us.

"Walid we are just catching up. First you don't tell me you know my friend, and now your watching our drinks? Piss off." Ameena looked over her shoulder at him, and I touched her hand to bring her attention back to talking to me.
