A few years ago
The dancer, from all her height, bent into a graceful reverence before disappearing in the middle of her fruit and vegetable companions (the disguises were of a disconcerting realism, one would have said real), she clasped against her heart, the slightly withered rose that General Tolis had just offered her. As she left, she noticed that her cheeks were crimped and her rib cage was thrilling, and she exhaled for a long time to get rid of her adrenaline.
"I will be delighted to have a chat with the woman who gave me this rose," this one said with an affection that continued to trouble her as she locked herself in her dressing room.
It wasn't long before people knocked on her door to congratulate her and her team.
"The show was exquisite ladies!
- Shellfish costumes, what an ingenious idea!
- I WAS DEAD LOL.
- Thank you," she replied shyly to cut short any conversation.
She closed the door again and began to smell the slight fragrance still emanating from the flower, her heart beating every time she remembered the words of the general.
The door was knocked umpteenth time, ripping her out of his daydream. She was about to take over the unknown when she saw the person, Prime Minister Alfen himself. He shook her hand and gave her a paper, accompanied by a bouquet of flowers.
"I loved your show, miss, I fell apart with laughter, to my shame, I admit. But congratulations, having said that. Her Majesty loved it too. Don't hesitate to come and reproduce here, it would be a pleasure," explained Alfen.
He was about to leave after the dancer gave him a smile of thanks, but she called on him:
"Mr. Prime Minister, are these flowers... from you?
- Oh no miss, not at all, they are from the person who wrote you this word and gave you this old rose," he replied, pointing to the wilted flower with his finger.
Then he nodded politely and left her, in her thoughts and dreams. The girl removed the paper and unfolded it, reading these words:
"Dear lady, join me at the exit of your dressing room, I will wait for you to bring you back"
The young woman smiles, delighted to finally be able to talk to the chosen one of her heart. She pumped herself, changed herself, and then hurried out of her dressing room. Outside, a man was leaning on a pillar, beautiful, majestic, tall, splendid etc (insert all the possible improving adjectives).
He saw her and gave her a bright, soft smile. The girl felt her heart melt and flutter in front of this person. He reached out to her, and she accepted him. He took her to a carriage and the journey took place under quiet and private chatter (it will not be transcribed).
When he took her home, he helped her get down and then he lowered and put his hand down.
End?

In fact, it was far from the end, on the contrary. It was the very beginning of a new story: reincarnated to have a date with General Tolis, this perfect beauty. Title longer than this funny goat story.
The sections of Tuyau gown floated along the path leading to his apartments and at his side, echoing the general's heavy footsteps, all cramped in his armor. The moon was high in the sky but the atmosphere was soft, it was good to live.
"Once again, I want to sing you a thousand praises, your show was delightful miss.
- Thank you General Tolis, I'm flattered."
He had one last smile a little embarrassed and turned his heels to join the carriage, his sword beating against his hip. Tuyau watched as he left, and a hint of melancholy slowly sunk into her chest. She felt she was cut in half.
Neither one nor two, she hurled all her feather weight towards him, hugging his back with force. Despite his thick armor*, she could feel it clenching under her arms.
"What is—
- I will become so sad at the very thought of you leaving. Please stay with me a little longer."
Long seconds passed without anyone saying a word. Tolis, peony from foot to head eventually, turned timidly towards the dancer to give her back her embrace.
He dragged her into the carriage and they left as of today.

*Normally, he doesn't wear his armor... It's a banquet, so he's in a "minister's" outfit with a green... dress. But since it's Tuyau that wrote, I can't edit XD.
