I blinked and put my hand over my forehead to stop the sunlight blinding me. I turned my head to the right and found the seat empty. I was alone in bed. The weight of loneliness grew heavy on my shoulders and I curled up under the sheets. Sadness took hold of my heart, having hoped to see my husband when I woke up.

"How much longer are you going to mope? ( ̄_ ̄)"

I glanced around quickly, unsurprised to see Auteur standing right next to me, looking at me with a jaded expression.

"You don't understand anything, you, you don't understand what it's like to have doubts... to be alone...," I said, lowering my eyes.

"Doubts? What doubts? ( ̄Д ̄)"

I heaved a sigh and straightened up. Auteur handed me a dressing gown, certainly couldn't bear to see me with nothing on.

"Put this on, it'll be better for my little eyes ( ̄ ̄|||) ... And damn! You've got red marks all over your body!!! ( ゚Д゚) Is he a dog or what???"

I glared at her, which had the effect of shutting her up, while quickly putting on the suit.

"Firstly, I'd like you to avoid commenting on things like that. It's private. Secondly, how would you feel knowing that the person you love isn't necessarily the person you loved in the first place, I blurted out as my voice broke more and more as I went on, it's as if you felt as if your heart was being torn apart... He's exactly like the Orias I loved, but at the same time... he's not... he's the Orias of another time... I feel as if I've deceived him, but I love him too... What should I do, Auteur?"

I burst into tears, tears streaming down my face, and withdrew into myself. Auteur came to comfort me by putting an arm around my back and stroking me gently, not knowing what to say.

"There's no need to worry about that, Soliès," Fury interrupted abruptly, appearing from nowhere in front of me.

I straightened my head in surprise, almost hitting Auteur in the process.

"Look at you, Soliès, you're in a terrible state," exclaimed the blond, pulling a white handkerchief out of his pocket and wiping the tears from my cheeks with a tender gesture as he sat down on the bed.

I froze for a moment, not expecting such an action, but then recoiled.

"What are you doing? I asked, frightened.

- Nothing that would make you think of the word 'love', Soliès. Only sympathy, he admitted, rolling his eyes at me.

- Good, because I don't feel any love for you, I said, shaking my head.

- Well, since things are clear, let me take another weight off your heart. This is the Orias of your time," Fury explained.

My eyes widened.

"Ho-How??", I stammered, at a loss.

"It can't be! Unless... ( ; Д ; ) "

I turned to Auteur, waiting for the end of her answer, the blond man remaining stubbornly silent.

"Unless what??" I insisted.

I saw her hesitating and then sighing.

"Unless he died prematurely in your past life... (·́ _ ·̀ )

I petrified myself at the tragic implicit meaning of this sentence.

 Orias... was... dead? How? What?
