Vera's dress up top!

~ *Try to tell you "no" but my

body keeps on telling you "yes".

Try to tell you "stop", but your

lipstick got me so out of breath.

I'll be waking up in the

morning, probably hating myself.

One More Night - Maroon 5

Chapter Five - Sex Now, Talk Later

"Vera, you really need to stop. Do you know what I found in front of my house?" Johnny yelled.

"No, but I'm sure you're gonna tell me. Can you please not yell?" I hissed.

Johnny was cool, he was great in bed, and a really good friend, but sometimes he acted like my Dad. I already have one, I don't need another one.

"You passed out in the front! With your dress ripped! Vera, I love you, but I'm not gonna let you ruin your life like this. Get your shit together. I know you don't want to end up like your mother." I looked at Johnny and glared.

I would never end up like that cracked out bitch.

"I know," I whispered.

"I know you're going through a hard time, but don't kill yourself over it. I know I shouldn't be talking, but partying and fucking random guys isn't the answer. I know you're a mess after what happened with Tanner."

"Don't, Johnny." I wasn't in the mood to have this conversation right now. I had a major headache and bad cramps. My whole body was hurting. I had an idea of what happened. Bits and pieces would fill my head here and there. I tried to push it to the back of my head because I didn't want to think about it.

"You know it's true, V. I stand here and watch you throw your life away. Do you want to end up dead?"

"No," I mumbled.

"Do you even remember what happened last night?" Johnny had a weird expression on his face. He looked concerned.

"No, Johnny."

"Exactly! I'm serious, Vera. This is going to stop now. I'm not gonna let my friend kill herself." I smirked as I moved closer to him.

"Aw, you care about me?" I pouted.

"I'm serious, Vera!" He pushed me away when I put my arm around him.I've never seen Johnny this upset, so I knew he wasn't fucking around.

"Okay, okay. I'll cut down on everything if it's going to make you happy. I'll make it up to you. I promise." Johnny smiled.

"Great. You can start by going with me somewhere."

"What? Oh, come on! I'm not going to church with you again." Johnny turned to me and smirked.

"This is much better. Trust me." I huffed and sat back in my seat.

Johnny might actually be the death of me. Johnny always wanted me to go to weird places with him. Weird to me would probably be normal to you. I didn't like being normal. I'd rather be at a party with two different bottles in my hand then go to the movies. I don't know what he had planned, but I knew it wasn't going to be good.
