Today was the day that determines who between the two first granddaughters was going to inherit grandma Li's inheritance. The whole procedure took long but at the end of the day, it was officially given to Jia whom at this point had fulfilled her grandmother's will of getting married.
Her cousin Misa and her mother sat there glaring at Jia and Yangyang with full on hatred and jealousy that they weren't able to inherit the inheritance money. Misa even went as far as to say that the two of them (Jia and Yangyang) didn't love each other (which was true at some part), and had only gotten married to get the money. Their love wasn't real like Misa and her boyfriend's, so in her opinion she should have gotten the inheritance.
But all was written in the will. No marriage = no inheritance.
To celebrate Jia winning the battle between her cousin, the two of them had decided to host a housewarming party. Since they've just moved into their new apartment-- ehem* I meant penthouse, and Jia had managed to clean the whole place with a bit of Yangyang's assistance, so they've decided to welcome their friends over!

"Honestly if my parents gave me this huge ass place to live in, I'd never want to leave home." Haechan spoke before he chugged down his canned beer.
Him and Kisaki decided to bring some drinks for the party since it wouldn't be a party without them, and since Jia really loves drinking.
Yangyang was very opposed to the amount of alcohol that his friend had brought over, but he didn't dare to get rid of them.
"How's your first night here with Jian? You two slept well?" Jaemin questions. Wanting to know all the detail.
"Yeah. I had a nice sleep." Yangyang answers obliviously. All his friends giving him teasing looks as he looks at them weirdly.
"Why are you all grinning like that, the fuck?"
"You slept with each other, as in you and her.." Shotaro stated as Yangyang raised a brow at him. Before it hit him.
"No?! What the hell no. You morons, I didn't have sex with her. What I was implying, was that I slept nicely in MY OWN BED. We both sleep separately in our own rooms." He tells them as his face started to turn into a shade of scarlet.
"That's no fun." Renjun mumbles as he shook his drink before sipping on it.
"Why would you guys even think that." He groans whilst rubbing his face tiredly.
"That's so weird. I thought married couples would for sure share a room with each other. Are you guys perhaps allergic to the opposite sex?" Jeno stated.
"Hello, not everyone has to sleep in the same room. Sleeping in separate room whilst you're married is healthy as well. And no, we're not allergic to each other." Yangyang retorted as his friends could just sigh at him.
Their conversation was then interrupted with the sound of Jia's screeching.
All six heads looking over to where the girl was at as they watched her excitedly hug a book that Jieun had just gifted her.
"Is this, the signed copy of the silent world of the pixies. Ahhhh I love you so much Ji!!" Jia exclaims in utter exhilaration as she looks at the page where an autograph from her favourite author lays there beautifully, a small note along with the autograph written and dedicated for her.
"It's my late birthday gift for you. I decided to just give it as your housewarming gift as well. I told Lilith about how you've been a fan of her writing before she rose to fame and had been reading her books since she started posting them online, and she said that if she comes back here in the next year or so, she'd like to meet you." Jieun explains as this only excites Jia even more.
"Wow, me and Lilith are practically already besties by now."
Renjun who had been staring at the girls, but specifically the book that Jia was holding peculiarly, couldn't help but to ask his best friend what all the hype was about.
"Why'd Jian just scream? Especially over a book?" The older lad questions. He never understood why people get so excited over a book. Never did, even when his girlfriend was still alive.
