Angelina

After our shopping spree at the Dior store, we returned to our hotel room, bags upon bags in tow. It was safe to say that we had indulged in a bit of retail therapy, thanks to Kai's seemingly bottomless credit card. As I spread out the assortment of baby clothes we had acquired, I couldn't help but feel both grateful and guilty for the extravagance.

Kai was lounging on the bed, watching me with an amused smile as I sorted through the tiny garments. "You know, you're making it look like Amora has more clothes than she can wear in a year."

I turned to him with a mock glare, grabbing a pillow from the bed and tossing it playfully in his direction. "Hey, I'm just trying to make sure she's well-dressed for every occasion!"

Kai caught the pillow effortlessly and chuckled. "I have no doubt she'll be the most fashionable baby on the block."

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help the laughter that bubbled up. As I continued sifting through the clothes, Kai moved closer and leaned against the dresser, watching me intently.

"What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Nothing," he replied, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "I just like watching you go through all of this."

I couldn't help but blush under his gaze. "Well, I could use some help choosing what Amora should wear first."

Kai grinned and walked over, kneeling beside me to inspect the array of outfits. He picked up a pristine white onesie with delicate lace detailing and held it up. "How about this one?"

I looked at it skeptically. "White? Really?"

He nodded, unfazed by my skepticism. "It's simple and elegant. Plus, it'll make her look like an angel."

I scrunched my nose at him. "Or like a little blob of milk if she spits up."

Kai laughed. "Okay, fair point. But I still think it's a good choice."

I rolled my eyes, playfully conceding defeat. "Fine, we'll go with the 'angel' look for today."

Kai grinned and placed the outfit back in the pile. "See? Boring isn't always a bad thing."

I couldn't help but shake my head in mock exasperation. "You're just saying that because you're the king of minimalism."

Kai's smile widened. "And you're the queen of bold fashion choices. We balance each other out."

I leaned over and playfully bumped my shoulder against his. "You're lucky I love you, you know."

He laughed and wrapped an arm around me, pulling me close. "I know, and I love you too, even if you call my fashion sense 'boring'."

I sighed dramatically. "I promise I won't call it boring anymore."

He pressed a soft kiss to my forehead. "Deal. Now, let's get our little angel ready for the day."

As we began dressing Amora in her chosen outfit, I couldn't help but feel grateful for these simple moments of laughter and love. Amidst all the chaos and extravagance, it was the small interactions with Kai that truly made our journey memorable.
