Rain fell from the sky relentlessly, leaving a gloomy trail of clouds in its path. The sky turned an eerie shade of dark grey. Lighting traced itself among the clouds, wanting desperately to be seen. Thunder trailed behind, echoing and craving to be heard.

Tsukishima leaned his head against the window watching as the bus drove straight into the storm he had seen earlier this morning on the forecast.

"Looks like there's a storm ahead!" Nishinoya said kicking the seat Tsukishima was sitting on.

The blonde snickered, he had no idea how the second year behind him could be so blatantly obvious all the time.

"You're right Noya. Looks like we'll have to stay at the gym awhile." Tanaka sneered, sighing.

Yamaguchi scoffed, nudging Tsukishima's arm.

Tsukishima looked over to see the annoyed features of Yamaguchi, a grin forming on his face to see he wasn't the only one hearing the stupidity behind him.

"Seriously, it's like he thinks no one has a pair of eyes." Yamaguchi clicked his tongue, shaking his head.

Tsukishima nodded, turning his attention to the lightning he saw in the distance.

"So, what's new with you Tsukki?" Yamaguchi asked looking over towards the teen.

Without looking at Yamaguchi, Tsukishima's jaw clenched, he hadn't told his best friend about what had transpired the night before.

Should he?

Yamaguchi noticed the standoffish behavior from his friend. He narrowed his eyes, looking over the blonde's behavior.

"Is it about y/n?" Yamaguchi teased.

Tsukishima's eyes widened, practically snapping his head towards the boy with surprise.

"So it is!" Yamaguchi grinned, putting his fist up in the air at his victory.

Tsukishima rolled his eyes, looking back towards the window in annoyance. He cursed himself for being so easy to read. "It's not. I was just surprised you said her name." The blonde clapped back.

"Yeah, it seems as though she has a thing with Kageyama. They'd look good together!" Yamaguchi smirked, waiting for a reaction.

Tsukishima bit the inside of his cheek, forcing himself to put on an emotionless face.

"Yeah, I guess so." He shrugged, catching the freckle-faced teen off guard. "She can do whatever she wants, it's not like we're friends." He laughed, adjusting the zipper on his jacket.
