I woke up my eyes burning getting use to the light and I realized dallys arm was around me I started blushing and just stroked his hair lightly I tried to get up and he pulled me back in "10 more minutes" he said "but I'm hungry and what if I didn't want you touching me" I answered " then you wouldn't have told me to stay and you love this" dally said he wasn't lying but it was embarrassing I heard a knocking on my door and when I opened it,it was ponyboy "Johnny wrote a note for us" he handed it to me and I read it, it was split into 3 sections one with pony's name one with mine and one with dallys

Dear y/n if your seeing this I'm dead I truly love you and you matter to me a lot the last 2 years have been cool even though my time was cut short I'm still with you watch over dally for me none of this is your fault and no the roles shouldn't have been swapped I already know you've though it carry on y/n you are one heck of a girl

I started smiling with tears in my eyes it hurt he was gone but even on his last days he was still him I idolize him he's strong even though he couldn't fight he was smart and always new what he was doing I hugged ponyboy dally left my room "woah y/n wanna explain" ponyboy said "shut up" i exclaimed hitting his arm "today is court how do you feel pony" I asked "I'm real nervous I don't know what's going to happen"

TIME SKIP TO END IF COURT

The room was filled with tension I told the truth about what happened how we were getting jumped and the only way Johnny could save ponyboy was the stab him after a long stressful time Darry was in custody of ponyboy bob and Johnny were both dead so I never really understood what was the point butI went home to my apartment and was just sitting in the couch my mind running I decided to get up and make food dally walked jn "foods on the stove" I was sitting down watching tv and I realized the sun was setting I grabbed dallys arms and ran outside "Johnny wanted you to properly watch a sunset" I said "that boring" he responded "just do it please" he rolled his eyes and just watched we sat down and I was breathing in the fresh air feeling calm i lit up a cigarette I took a hit it was silent but comforting the golden sun set across the pink orangey sky I took another hit "isn't it beautiful" I looked over to him and he just nodded as it finally got dark we headed back in and put on a movie when dally fell asleep and laid on my lap I stroked his hair "softy" I mumbled "fuck you" he responded I soon got up to take a shower and get read for bed but I felt panicky like scared sad mad everything I couldn't breathe I was shaking I got changed and headed to my room trying to shake the feeling but I couldn't I felt paranoid I started crying and hyperventilating and I didn't know what to do I laid down grabbing my favorite stuffy and squeezing it so hard I wrapped myself in my blanket and tried to calm myself down "shhhhh it's ok" I thought I felt someone get in the bed a familiar sent if cologne and smoke pulled me closer I calmed down and slowly drifted off
