Ricky's pov:
The show went really well. Nini was amazing on stage. I still don't know how I get more blown away by her talent every time. I am so madly in love with this girl.
By the time we were done, I knew I had to confess my feelings to Nini.
Nini was alone in a room, now's my chance.

"Hey Nini. You were amazing tonight." I said.
"Thanks! You too Ricky!" Nini smiled.
"I still can't believe it's over." I said.
"Yeah same! I still feel like the auditions were yesterday." She said.
"So are you gonna go to Denny's with the rest of the cast?" I asked.
"Yeah of course! It's an annual tradition." She said.

We stood there in silence for a while. I'm so nervous to tell her.

"Well, I'm gonna go now. My moms are gonna want to take like a billion photos." She chuckled.

As she turned away, walking to the door, I knew I had to say it.

"I love you." I blurted out.

She turned around.

"I've loved you since I first laid eyes on you at the auditions. I loved you when we went on our first date at the beach. I loved you when you were at the hospital. You scared the shit out of me but I still loved you." I said.

She chuckled lightly, and smiled, as tears started to form in her eyes.

"I thought I lost you that day, and it completely freaked me out, 'cause I can't imagine my life without you." I continued, "Nini, I'm so in love with you, I don't even know what to do. I-"

I did not prepare this speech well enough. I have no idea what else to say.

"Ricky, you know how in musicals, people burst out in song when they run out of things to say?" Nini said.
"Yeah?" I said.

She took a step closer to me, smiling.

"Sometimes it's easier to just kiss." She said.

We smashed our lips against each others. It was a long, firery, passionate, kiss. The kind where fireworks fly. By the time we pulled away, we were both completely out of breath.

"So does this mean you'll be my girlfriend?" I asked, still trying to catch my breath.
"Yes definitely." She said smiling, and also out of breath.
"I love you Nini Salazar-Roberts" I said.
"I love you too Ricky Bowen." She said.

The end!!!!
