Ricky's pov:
"Gather around everybody!" Ms Jenn exclaimed.
"Today is our last rehearsal before tomorrow, opening night. Now we have a lot to do today ok? So focus everyone! No one should have any time to fool around. If you're not on stage, find a space to run lines with someone." She said, "let's start from the top."
Me and Nini took our spots on stage.
"Wait where's big red?" Ms Jenn asked.
"I'm here." Big red said, suddenly appearing behind Ms Jenn.
"Aaah!" Ms Jenn screamed.
Everybody laughed.
"Ok. Moving on. Positions everyone." Ms Jenn said, "action."
The rest of rehearsals was pretty normal. Nini looked pretty nervous though. She kept stumbling over her lines, even though I know that she knows her lines inside and out, since we always practice together.
After rehearsals I walked over to Nini.
"Hey Neens, are you ok?" I asked.
"Yeah of course why wouldn't I be? I mean it isn't like there will be hundreds of eyes on me tomorrow, and I might make a fool of myself and become the laughing stock of two schools. I'm totally fine." She ranted.
"Woah Nini. You got this. You're born for this role. You're amazing. You're gonna do great." I told her.
"But what if I don't? What if I completely mess up on stage? What if I trip? What if everyone laughs at me? What if I let everyone down?" She said slightly panicking.
"Well then we'll get through it together. I'll be right next to you on stage almost the entire time. I'll help you if you do mess up." I told her.
"Aw thanks Ricky. Thank you for calming me down, I don't know what I would do without you." Nini said smiling.
"Of course. I'm here for you." I said.
"You wanna get fro-yo? My treat." Nini said.
"Of course. Why would I say no to free fro-yo." I said.
General pov:
Nini and Ricky leave the building laughing. Everyone could tell they're in love with each other. The way they look at each other, how much they care about each other, etc. If only they could see it too.
I can't believe this story is almost done!!! Two more chapters y'all😭
