Nini's pov:
"Hey Kourt!" I said, FaceTiming her, as I flopped on my bed.
"Heyy Neeners! What's up?" She said.
"Ok, so don't get mad at me, but I think I kinda definitely might be in love with Ricky." I said.
"What? After he broke your heart? Still??" Kourtney said.
"Well he didn't try to. It was a mistake. Besides it was a while ago." I said.
"That mistake landed you in the hospital girl. And it was only like two weeks ago!"Kourtney said.
"But he's been really sweet lately. He even came over right away when I called him in the middle of the night. I tried to push aside my feelings for him but I can't. What if he's the one?" I said.
"I don't know what to say anymore. But if he breaks your heart again, imma break his neck." Kourtney said.
"Aw thanks Kourt. But please don't, how am I gonna talk to my bestie if she's in prison?" I laughed.
"Well then, you'll have to hold me back." She laughed.
"I have to sleep now, long day tomorrow. I have dress rehearsal." I said.
"Ok." Kourtney said, "wait did you just say Ricky went to your house in the middle of the night??? What were you two doing???"
"I need to go now byeeee." I said avoiding the question.
"Nini! I-" she said before I hung up.
The next day at school...
"Hey Ally! Hey Cici!" I said.
"Hi Nini!" They said.
"How are you holding up? You know with the thing?" Ally asked.
"I'm fine. Thanks" I said.
"By the way we're gonna come to your drama performance to cheer you on." Cici said.
"Really? Thanks guys!" I said.
Looks like things are finally starting to look up.
