Ricky's pov:
As we did our homework in silence, I kept sneaking glances at Nini. She's so cute when she's focused. I couldn't help it.
"Ok I'm done. How 'bout you." She asked.
"I'm pretty much done too. I just need to check my answers for math but I can do it later." I said.
"Ok." She said.
"Let's take a break before rehearsing. Movie?" I said.
"Sure." She said smiling.
"High school musical?" I asked.
"You know me too well." She giggled.
After watching the movie, we ran lines for a bit.
"Hey kiddo!" My dad said as he walked in.
"Hey dad!" I greeted him, "how was work?"
"Same old boring stuff. Who's this?" He said.
"Oh dad this is Nini. Nini, this is my dad." I said.
"Hi Mr. Bowen." Nini said.
"Please, call me Mike. Would you like to stay for dinner?" He asked.
"Sure I'd love to. As long as it's not a bother." Nini said.
"Of course not." He said as he disappeared into the kitchen to prepare.
"Just to warn you, my dad's cooking is not exactly the best." I whispered to Nini.
"Haha no worries. I'm sure it's not as bad as mine. Once I tried to fry an egg and it ended up tasting like plastic." Nini laughed.
After a while, we had dinner. Then I walked Nini home.
"I love hanging out with you." She said smiling.
"Me too. See you tomorrow at dress rehearsal." I said.
"Cya." She said.
