Chapter 1

I'm gonna melt that frozen heart of yours !

This assuasive , soothing voice kept ringing in your mind .

" Melt my frozen heart , huh ? " you mumbled to yourself as you stared the ceiling blankly . Your delicate lips curved into a sad and deplorable smile .

" I wonder how will he do it ? That mysterious lad ...." you mumbled again as you close your eyes slowly to reminisce your past .

- FLASHBACK - 10 years ago

" Y-You cold-hearted beast ! Such a disgrace to us !! " your step-mother barked as she slapped her hand across your face .

" I-I-I'm sorry , M-Mother .... " you apologized sincerely as your step-mother took a few step away from the crying you .

" OUT !!!! " she ordered , jerking her thumb to the door . You were frozen in spot with fear that overwhelmed your whole soul and body .

" OUT !! " she demanded , raised her voice higher then stomped her foot to the ground mercilessly . Immediately , you rushed out , fearing what will happen next if you don't .

Running with all your might and last energy , tears forcefully escape from your ( e / c ) eyes due to the pain of the torture you endured done by your merciless , wicked step-mother .

At last , you reached your hiding place , the only place that will calm you down , stop you tears , the only place that you could hide from the old hag .

You sat down there , hugging your knees , observing how deep the wound damage you .

Ssrkkk ... The sound of the bushes move . Your body react automatically as you shouted , with the most audacious voice you have , " WHO'S THERE ?! SHOW YOURSELF !! "

Silence took over . Then a male voice spoke , " Man .... Don't shout like that ... People might think I'm a pervert , ambush you or something .. "

The male showed himself out of the bush . He looked the same age as you or maybe older than 2-4 years . "No ... people ? " he mumbled , then sighed in relief , loud enough for you to hear .

" Who are you and why are you in my territory ? " you asked coldly .

" Ah ! A girl ! " he exclaimed , ignoring your question . His pitch-black eyes were fixing at you for a long time then begin to examine you carefully .

" W-What ? " you asked , almost no sound came from your throat . He just stand there , silent . Then , his piercing gaze fell on your injuries .

Without any warning , He sprang forward then tightly grip on you small wrist . " H-Hey !!! " you resisted but no avail . He was much more stronger than you .

" Who did this to you ? " he asked seriously . " It's none of your business ... " you reply coldly .

He let go of your hand and started to walk away , without saying another word .

"What's his problem ? " you mumbled to yourself as you took a glance on the place he grip tightly earlier .

About 5 minutes later , that boy came back , but this time , he's not empty handed , he bring 2 not-so-large , medium boxes .

" Why did you come back ? " you asked coldly as you grit your teeth . He just shrugged as he open one of the boxes and took something out .

He slowly walk towards you , holding a foreign thing that you haven't seen before . As he took a step forwards , you crawl back , still facing him .

" Please come here ... I brought no harm to you ... I just want to treat your wounds .. " he pleaded .

" Why should I trust you , a stranger that I've only met once ? " you asked , glaring at the frowning male .

The male was speechless as you still have your emotionless face on with you . But soon you noticed that his eyes were reflecting the sympathy then you gave up .

" Fine .... 5 minutes ... " you said , sighing. His face lit up with hope as he gave you the brightest smile you've ever seen in your whole life .

He touched you injuries which made you flinch carefully , gently and tenderly as he began to treat it with care .

You just sat there , face still emotionless until his done . " Done !! " he exclaimed , proud of his own work .

You stared into the treatment he gave you , the bandage was bandaged properly , it was so peachy and neat .

" Thanks .... " you mumbled as your eyes met his . Your eyes reflect the gratitute that you're so grateful for him to help you .

He grinned widely and said , " Hey ... you know , I bet you're be pretty if you smile ! And such a pity that you have a cold heart ... but don't worry ! I'm gonna melt that frozen heart of yours and make you say ... " before he finished he sentence , making you curious .

" Say what ? " you asked coldly .

" Hmmm .... That's a secret then ! " he said , dashed off as he waved goodbye to you .

You just sit there ..... Wondering who's that mysterious , mischievous yet gentle lad ...

- FLASHBACK END -

" Can't believe that scene and voice is still so vivid to me ... and I don't even know his name .... " you mumbled , starting to open your eyes .

" Better get ready ....  " you mumbled , sitting up , starting to tidied up your books , files , etc .

" High school in 2 day , huh ? "
