"-On the final lap of the race this year, Navier Estrella at the top of the hill an area you would not normally touch the inside of, Alejandro Velasco goes all the way off the carts on the right hand side from the wind here in Laguna Seca, Unbelievable and the championship will go to MAYUMI RYLE LOPEZ! finishes her car slides in just one second! what a truly unbelievable!"

I smirk as i stop my car at the finish line, i push my shoes at the break pedal to stop the moving. As i come out at the car tinanggal ko ang helmet sa ulo bahagyang bumagsak ang mahaba kong buhok, at lumakas ang sigawan ng mga manonood. Lumabas din sa big screen ang mukha ko, ngumiti ako dito at kumaway.

My Manager walk towards to my direction and hand me a water, "You improved a lot Yumi, good job." she said. Kinuha niya ang helmet ko at umalis, Alejandro was behind her, "Congrats little dumpling." A smirk across his lips.

I rolled my eyes on him, "stop calling me like that, Alejandro, i beat you duh." He laugh and give me a head pat, he is my childhood friend and my first manager. "Yumi!!" my manager called, i looked at her and smiled, "Aye, Coming! let's go get our trophy Mr. Shrek!" i roll my eyes on him.

"Come on, i don't even look like a Shrek," i ignore his reply and went to the stage for the trophy, my manager was beside me and the emcee, after that we handshake our hands "you're trully amazing Miss Lopez, i can't wait to see you again in the next competition."

I nodded as being respectful, "I hope to see you again, thank you." i smiled and looked at the camera and reporters. Pagbaba ko ng stage ay nag si puntahan sa akin ang mga reporters, there questions are all the same kaya nag pasalamat lang din ako and went to my car. Iuuwi ko kasi sa bahay, and i know Mom is gonna be super mad at me.

Nakasunod saakin ang mga reporter kaya naman ng makapasok ako sa kotse ay sinabihan ko ang aking manager na uuwi na ako. Pinaandar ko na ang engine at nag inikot na ang manubela.

I'm Mayumi Ryle Lopez, my parents are working under the government kaya naman alam kong magagalit na naman si Mom saakin because i skip our class for this event naman, well i don't really like studying i think studying is not for me. I don't enjoy studying.

There's some people naman na hindi gustong mag aral just like me, i don't see my self studying but my Mom want me to be just like them so that i will be a rich kuno.

I enjoy race, competition, like that. My phone suddenly rang and the caller shows my Mom name. I inhale and exhale and press the green button. [You skip class again Mayumi?! I Allow you to do that race but still Yumi, your grades is getting below! how unresponsible!]

"Mom.. I'm sorry okay? today's is our event lang talaga and i had to skip the morning class, matagal ko nang pinaghandaan 'tong event and i can't just not show up.. right.? i'll make bawi na lang.." it's not that hard thou.

[You have to promise Yumi, because if it's still the same i won't agree to your race again and i'll confiscate your cars, got it?]

I sighed. "Yes mom.." then she hang up, i looked at the left side mirror and pressed the accelerator pedal. I can't just make Mom confiscate my babies, my cars, they're my babies.

Nang makauwi ako ay syempre si Manang lang ang nasa bahay, minsan ko lang madatanan umuwi sina Mom and Dad, feeling ko nga hindi na sila umuuwi dito kasi pag gising ko nasa trabaho na pag tulog ko naman sila umuuwi.

Pag katapos kong ligo ay humiga ako sa kama at binuksan ang laptop, napangisi ako ng makita ang mukha ko sa youtube, ang home timeline ko ay puno ng picture ng kotse ko, napamangha sila sa bilis ng patakbo ko. I didn't really expected na mauunahan ko si Mr. Shrek dahil isang bilis nalang niya talaga nun ay siya ang 1st and nasa hulihan lang din ako ni Navier Estrella. It's just miracle.

Napahikab ako, pinatay ko ang laptop at umidlib muna, bukas ay papasok nanaman ako nakakainis lang talaga. Even if i excelled my grades they won't come naman sa recognition. what a waste.

Siguro sa sobrang pagod ko kahapon ay hindi na ako nagising dahil umaga na ng ginising ako, kami na lang ni Manang ngayon ang kumakain sa almusal syempre wala na naman silang dalawa, work, work, work.

Nag pahatid na lang din ako kay Manong sa school dahil baka makatulog ako sa pag drive, i'm still antok pa kasi kaya nag pastop na muna ako sa Starbucks at bumili ng coffee bumili din ako ng para sakanila ni Manang.

Dumiretso na kami sa school at bumaba na ako at laking gulat ng mga estudyante ng makita ako, isa isa silang nag pa picture at humingi ng autograph. I'm famous lol. Pumunta na ako sa classroom namin pagtapos ng mahabang pag fa fan sign sakanila. Umupo na ako sa dati kong upuan, nakatingin sa bintana napangiwi na lang ako ng may bumaba ng bag sa bakanteng upuan sa kaliwa ko.

It's Kaden, my seatmate. The smart at our section, kung sinuswerte at minamalis din dahil sa gusto kong sa bintana ako kagabi pero nirason niya sa aming advisor na hindi ako pwedeng tabi sa bintana at dahil palagi akong nawawala sa focus. He was also our President kaya naman may tiwala sakaniya ang teacher namin. Lumingon na lang ako sa kanan at nawalan din ng ganang tumingin sa mga tao.

Dumating ang unang teacher subject namin at cinongratulate nila ako bago mag simula ang lesson, inubos ko ang kape ko at nag take notes na din habang nag sasalita ang teacher.

"What gotten to you? did somebody blackmail you?" my seatmate whispered.

"What do you mean blackmail?" kumunot ang noo ko at bahagyang nakatingin sakaniya ng masama. "Well, you kinda off today, you're focused and taking notes. You're not actually like that before."

I rolled my eyes. "People change. And why do you even care." i whisper.

He chuckle and i was so annoyed that i stepped his shoes napa aray siya ng malakas kaya naman natugon saamin ang attention ng mga kaklase namin at ng gurong nagbabasa sa harapan, "Is there something wrong Mr. Kaiden?"

"N-Nothing Ma'am, please continue." He politely apologies and the teacher just nodded and continue his lesson. I chuckled when i saw his eyes glare at me.

Natatawa pa din ako sa tuwing naaalala ko ang nakakainis niyang mukha kanina, siguro pag mas lalo kong sinakitan ang pag apak sa sapatos niya kanina mas pangit pa ang makikita ko.

"Yums, so nakita mo pala si Alejandro?" ngumisi siya ng humarap siya sakin, "Well, yeah, he's my enemy."

"Hey! he's so pogi kaya, hindi ka ba na inlove sakaniya?" tanong niya sakin, "ew. no never." She laughed and sipped on her straw milk. This is Zariyah, my friend since 7th grade and the other one, Valentina, who wears a glasses, smart and one of the smart here in Laville.

"Hindi ka ba babalik sa dorm natin Yumi?" tanong ni Valentina, napaisip ako sa tanong nito, matagal tagal na din akong hindi nag dodorm kasi hindi ako makatakas at dahil may training ako nun sa race. Wala din namang problema sa dorm or sa mga kasama ko dahil sina Zariyah at Valentina lang din ang kasama ko.

"Siguro babalik na din, sa friday ko na lang ilipat mga gamit ko." Saad ko at tinuloy ang pag kain ng lunch. Tumango tango siya, "Why sa friday pa if pwede namang ngayong gabi ay dito kana matulog, right Valentina?" Zariyah smirk.

"Yes, we have extra clothes din naman so you don't have to worry about getting your clothes." She smirk and eye contact to Zariyah. Tinugon ko na lang ang atensyon ko sa cellphone at nag scroll down sa time line, puro naman mga murder, drugs, minor trafficking ang mga latest news ngayon.

Nang makatapos kami sa pag lunch ay bumalik na lang din kami sa classroom at doon pinag patuloy nilang dalawa ang paglalaro nila ng codm.
