Ricky's pov:
"Ok I'm ready!" Nini said as she walked down the stairs.

I don't know how, but it always amazes me how beautiful Nini is. As she walked down the stairs, I was wonderstruck, standing there like a doofus, staring at her.

"You look... woww!" I said.
"Aww thanks." She said blushing.
"K let's head out now." I said grabbing the picnic basket.
"Ok!" She said excitedly.
"Wow someone's excited." I said as we started walking there.
"Yeah of course! I get to hangout with my favourite person in the world!" She said.
"Really? I'm your favourite person?" I asked.
"Yeah!" She said.
"Well you're mine too." I said blushing.

She smiled at me. Man, her smile can light up a whole room. I'm so in love with her, but I don't think she feels the same way anymore. We might just have to be friends, which is fine, but sometimes I just want to be more.

"K we're here." I said as we arrived at the park. "Let's find a spot."
"Oo how 'bout over there." Nini pointed at the quiet spot under a giant tree.
"Sure." I said.

We went over there and set up our stuff. Then we sat down and practiced our lines for a bit. Then we ate and talked. This is the first time I've felt this happy since we broke up. Everything kinda went downhill after me and Nini broke up. She started hurting herself, starving herself, and ended up in the hospital. And it was all because of me. I just wish I could take it all back and go back to how we were. But it is what it is, now all I can do is try to regain her trust and win her back.
After the picnic I walked her back to her house.

"So will you be ok by yourself at home? I asked.
"Yeah I think so." She replied.
"If not just give me a call anytime. I don't care what time it is, I'll always answer. Ok?" I told her.
"Yes I know." She laughed.
"K goodnight." I said.
"Goodnight." She said smiling.

After she went inside, I started heading back to my place, with a smile on my face.
