Sunghoon was walking back to his house, the sun was setting and his mom had asked him to buy a few things at the convenience store

He was using his free hand to massage his mom that he was on his way home

On his way home, he was thinking, 'How is Haesoo?' still he hasn't been able to talk to her. He did send a few messages to her but did not reply, he was always left on delivered, trying to understand her he did try to give her some time to think about what he said

Though did it have to take this long to answer his confession?

As he continued walking, he heard a familiar voice which made him turn his head immediately when he heard the mention of Haesoo's name

Only to see it was Jeonghan and Sunwoo, Haesoo's brothers. The moment Jeonghan spotted Sunghoon as well, he greeted him realizing who he was, Sunghoon politely greeted him to as well as Sunwoo feeling less shy remembered him in the playground last time

"Oh Sunghoon, the sun is almost down are you on your way home?" Sunghoon nodded before replying with a "Yes"

Sunghoon wanted to ask him how Haesoo was, but he felt a little embarrassed to ask. Having the thought of bidding goodbye to walk away Jeonghan chuckled which made him tilt his head a little wondering why he chuckled suddenly

"I'm sorry about Haesoo by the way, always dodging you"

"Oh, you know about that?" he asked awkwardly, Jeonghan nodded with a soft smile. "She didn't tell me right away, but I found out eventually. Wanna talk about it?"

Sunghoon nodded his head and immediately texted his mom he'll be home a little late

"When I found out about the whole situation, it just made me realize how much that part of her life affected her"

Sunghoon listened to Jeonghan as they walked slowly, Sunwoo who was innocently walking with them

"I hope you don't think I hate you, especially since I am known for being protective when it comes to boys"

"I don't, it's normal for dads or older brothers to be like that"

"Honestly, I wasn't strict with boys towards Haesoo, I only began to when Haesoo began to not take her grades seriously and she changed a little. I didn't want her going through that again so I thought being strict about boys would help"

Jeonghan couldn't help but laugh at himself, "I'm not sure if you know exactly what happened between Jungo and Haesoo so I won't mention it. But before Jungo meant everything to her, I'm sorry to say that"

"It's alright..." Sunghoon knew that well, which made him not expect Haesoo to like him back. He was just worried about what she was feeling, he never saw Haesoo in that state and it stressed him out

"I trust you that, you can make Haesoo happy and forget about what happened, I know she likes you back. She's just putting the pieces all together," Jeonghan smiled and used his free hand to pat Sunghoon's back

Sunghoon couldn't help but feel relieved knowing Jeonghan was okay with the fact he liked Haesoo

Soon they found themselves in front of Haesoo's house, Jeonghan furrowed his eyebrows when he saw an unfamiliar car parked

He widened his eyes a bit before quickly carrying Sunwoo and running inside the house. Sunghoon feeling alarmed  seeing Jeonghan's reaction quickly followed them inside
