I'm accompanied
By the lonely today.
Everything I've loved
Has just gone away.
In a room full of people
I feel so alone.
Surrounded by family,
But don't feel at home.
Everyone's talking.
I'm surround by sound,
But I still feel
As if no one's around.
I have nothing to do
So I sit in one spot.
For hours or days
Without thinking a thought.
No matter what I do
Everyone leaves.
My friends, my family
Atleast so it seems.
