Sitting on her new bed, Y/N looked around her new house. It was big. 'Why did I have to live in this house?' Y/N thought to herself, sighing dramatically before getting up from her bed.
The house had 4 bedrooms, with each bedroom easily being able to fit 2 queen beds. The 3 toilets in the house were also extremely huge. In each bathroom, there were 2 sinks, and both, a shower and a bathtub. The house had two floors with a living room in each floor. And the backyard... the backyard was no exception either, as it had a small patio with a small kitchen located right next to the patio, and a lawn that could host a volleyball game.
Y/N sighed, this house was left to her as it was written in both her parents' will. She wasn't that close to both of her parents after their nasty argument that occurred when she was 18, causing her to pack all of her belongings and her savings and leave the house. But still, being back in this house, Y/N could feel all her childhood memories coming back to her. All those good times she had with her parents and all of the times she was truly happy. But with those good memories, came bad ones, causing Y/N to squeeze her eyes shut and make fists with both her hands.
Tears streaming down her face, Y/N tried her hardest to calm herself down, running to get her antidepressants from her small pouch. She took 2 and swallowed them quickly before gulping some water to wash it down. Grinding her teeth together, she looked down, wiping the tears from her face. 'The past is past is in the past now, at least I have a home to stay in,' Y/N thought to herself, before going to sleep. This was her new start, and she wasn't going to let those bad memories back in.
The next day Y/N woke up, sniffling quietly walking to the bathroom door, wiping the tears she had unintentionally let fall down. After finishing her moning rountine, Y/N changed into the clothes required for her job as a waitress and got into her red Toyota Yaris, driving herself to work. She took quite a while as she was still not familiar with the place, and also the fact that this place was a good 35 minutes away from the city.
Finally having reached the Cafe she worked at, she got out of the car, cracking her knuckles before entering the Cafe. "Y/N! How is your new place? If it gets too lonely, just know that I'm always here if you need a new roommate!" a cheerful voice chirped.
Y/N looked up and smiled sweetly at the voice. It was her best friend, Jeongin. "Jeongin, I just might take you up on that offer," she said, still smiling at the slightly taller boy.
"So how was that house?" Jeongin spoke, genuinely interested in his best friend's new life. "Not too bad, it's really big though," Y/N replied, pursing her lips together. "Does it bring back any memories...?" Jeongin asked curiously, both worried and interested in what the girl was thinking about. "I guess it does, but more good than bad, so don't get too worried Innie!" she said, quickly changing her voice to make her sound more happier, trying to conceal the fact that what she just said were all lies.
Jeongin's smile faded, knowing very well that his best friend was lying to him. He covered his disappointed look, with a more relaxed one before saying, "I'm glad that you're slightly happier now Y/N." Y/N looked at Jeongin, her smile growing bigger, "Last one to the kitchen has to clean all the tables without any help!" Jeongin's smile dropped as the h/c haired girl pushed past him into the kitchen, with him quickly following behind.
"That wasn't fair! You had a head start!" Jeongin whined, lightly pushing the laughing Y/N. "You shouldn't have been asking so many questions then I guess," Y/N said, smirking.

"Do you have any idea how many tables I've cleaned all by myself today? It was like over 100 tables, Y/N!" Jeongin complained, removing his apron before clocking out. "Well, you lost the deal Innie, so it's not my fault," Y/N said, doing the same as Jeongin. "Whatever. Well I'm going to get going now, so see you tomorrow Y/N!"
Jeongin waved a long goodbye to Y/N before getting into his black 1967 Chevrolet Impala. Y/N did the same, before locking the store up, and entering her car, driving to her house. She happily looked at the packaged food she had made for herself at the Cafe. "I'm going to be eating well today," she spoke to herself, turning up the music. The song, Bite me by Enhypen started playing. "Aw, hell yeah," she said, increasing the volume even more.
Y/N finally had reached her house, parking her car in front of the house. Y/N got out of the car, taking her food and keys as well. Y/N walked up to her door, and then stopped right in her tracks. Laying in front of her was a large dog. Y/N couldn't make out the breed of the dog, which surprised her as she was a huge dog lover. Y/N squinted her eyes, taking in the form of the dog.
Y/N's eyes widened as she realised that the dog was injured and was bleeding all over. But that wasn't the problem now. The problem was that the dog was injured and was blocking her front door. Hurt dogs were more prone to being aggressive and dangerous when approached. Y/N gulped, before thinking of a plan to lure the dog away from her front door.
