~It's Better With You~

chapter 8

(It should be Saturday, right? Let's pretend it's Saturday if not...)

The morning come. It was unusually warm for that time of the year, but nice nevertheless. The sun had raised not long ago and so has the greenette woman.

She took her time in getting ready knowing that the three teens in her house probably won't be up for at least 2 to 3 more hours, if not even more.

She had woken up at around 8am. She did some research about Shinso, his parents and Eri. To be lawyer sure come in handy sometimes.

Right  now however was 9am already and she had begun to prepare breakfast for everyone.

Unexpectedly for her the first to wake up was Hitoshi. " Morning!" She greeted him flipping yet another pancake."Hope ya don't mind eating pancakes. If you want i can make something else tho." She suggested.

" Ah-" Shinso had taken a back by her fast talking, still half asleep. "N-no! Pancakes is perfect, you don't need to make anything else."

"Oh, okay then!" She smile and put the now ready pancake on the plate where were the others too, putting new one to cook right away. "Does your sister like pancakes too?" She asked.

Hitoshi nod. " She loves it when i cook them for her. So don't worry about food"

"Well then. Sit in the living room and do whatever i guess. The TV has YouTube, you can watch something if you want." She pause. " Actually, don't you need a charger? You haven't charged your phone yet, right?"

Hitoshi chuckle. " It's fine, i still have- " He turned on his phone. "58%, probably enough for today too."

She nod and flipped that pancake too.
"Then go and have fun" She dismissed him.

our later both, Izuku and Katsuki got downstairs too. They all had breakfast and soon enough everyone were put in Inko's car. Hitoshi gave her the directions and she took them to the purple haired boy's house.

There Hitoshi snuck into the house trought his room window and as silent as possible went to Eri's. Izuku and Katsuki waited in the car while Inko was outside right next to the car. Ready to act if needed.

Inside Hitoshi and Eri had packed as much as possible and made a run for it yo the front door.

Unfortunately their father heard them, which resulted in yelling and screaming, Eri crying. Inko making her present known to the man and said man to try and hit her. When Katsuki unknowingly to Inko had gotten out of the car and catching the man's wrist, as well as maybe or maybe not breaking his nose as well.

Hitoshi throwing some words about him to not try and find them and just keep receiving the damn money for the adoption.

Then all of them got in the car again and getting the hell out of that street.

Eri was in the middle seat at the back. On her left was Hitoshi and on her right Katsuki. Hitoshi knowing Katsuki's quick temper was skeptical about the seating, but didn't voice his thoughts.

Eri kept glancing at Katsuki thinking she was sneaky about it, until Katsuki looked at her and raised eyebrow.
"What is it?" He asked her.

"Ah!-" she got startled about getting caught. "Uh, um..." She began to fidget with her fingers. "I just thought you look pretty" she confess.

Hitoshi's eyes wide and he look at her surprised, also waiting for Bakugou's reaction.

The blond chuckle. "Thanks, bit i think you're prettier." He said.

Eri literally had stars in her eyes. "You think so?" She ask hopefully.

Katsuki nod. "You also have very beautiful hair." He pat her head. "I will introduce you to my hag, she knows how to make alot of pretty hair styles."

"Hag?" Eri ask confused.

" My mom" Katsuki corrected himself.

As all of that was happening Inko was smiling happily, Izuku was indirectly very invested in the conversation too and Hitoshi was just starting at Bakugou's like he had grown a second head.  Which of course didn't go unnoticed by the blond who raised his eyebrow in question at him.

They had alot of fun on the way to Izuku's house, where Katsuki and Eri had to put a stop to their very interesting conversations about different hair styles that Eri might try, so the blond could go home.

Once inside the house Hitoshi ask.
" I didn't think Bakugou could be good with kids."

" It doesn't look like it right?" Inko chuckle. "Depends on the kid most of the time tho. If they act bratty with him he might return the attitude. "

"By the way, i was meaning to ask. What did you give my father before we left?" Hitoshi ask curious.

" Nothing much" She shrug her shoulders." Just my visit card and told him that if he comes looking for you, next time we see each other will be in the courtroom"

"Now that i think about it, what do you work, Inko-san?"

"I'm a lawyer" She wink at him. "One of the best too. So i wouldn't worry too much about him."

"One of the best my foot" Izuku cross arms. " You ARE the best. Even your boss said so.

"Not important Izuku. I just enjoy doing my work and bringing justice to this world. You can say that I'm a hero in my own way. " She walked further into the house dropping the conversation there.

Eri tucked Hitoshi's sleeve to get him attention. "Can i eat something?" She ask looking at Hitoshi's with puppy eyes.

"Of course" He smile. "Inko-san made us pancakes. Let's go and try them, hm?" She nod with  a big smile ask Hitoshi's to carry her there.

Later that day Inko took them shopping and finally officially introduced herself and Izuku to Eri.  Not even an hour later the silver haired girl was calling the small greenette nii-chan as well.

Katsuki joined them shopping, even tho most of the time he was just teasing Izuku about outfits that might look good on him and did the same with Hitoshi afew time too.

Like that one time they walked past some feminine shop and the moment Katsuki saw the skirt on one of the mannequins he turned to Izuku and told him that it would suit him.

Izuku upon hearing that smak him on the head while blushing like crazy. Hitoshi who heard them also blushed because he imagined the greenette actually wearing it.

A similar thing happened to Hitoshi when they were walking past HotTopic. Just this time it wasn't skirt.

All in all, they had one very fun and exhausting day.

Two chapters, because i haven't posted anything in a whole month or so. haha😃
