Tw: panic attack (ish), SH (ish)
Ricky's pov
I'm so glad Nini is ok. I think she forgave me for what I said? At least we're on speaking terms now. We're back to being friends, even though I want more. But it will have to do for now, since I need to get her to trust me again.
Nini hasn't cut herself in a week, and I couldn't be more proud. However, she has called me a couple times late at night, crying and wanting to cut herself. Luckily I was able to talk her through it and avoid her hurting herself. It was still really scary whenever she calls me crying though. I'm scared I might not be able to stop her from hurting herself sometimes. Tonight might have been the worse one.
I was doing homework when my phone rang. I looked over at it, and saw it was Nini. I immediately picked up.
"Ricky?" Nini said sobbing.
"Hey Neens. I'm here, talk to me." I said, trying not to panic.
"Please distract me." She said.
"Oh my um ok. First put down whatever sharp object you have in your hand right now. Please Nini." I said panicking.
"I-I can't" she sobbed.
"Ok ok. Just forget about that then. Um how was your day? What happened?" I asked.
"Fine I guess. I don't know. Ricky can you come over please?" She asked, still crying.
"Yes of course. Text me your address I'll come over right away." I said, while frantically getting dressed.
"Ok I just texted you." She said.
I looked at my phone. She doesn't live too far away, which is good. I quickly wrote a note for my dad and left it on the table.
"Ok I'll be there soon. Hang in there." I said, grabbing my skateboard.
As I skated over to her house, I was alone in my thoughts. How can I help Nini? What if I can't? What if it gets worse?
I arrived at her house and rang the doorbell.
"It's unlocked." I heard Nini say.
I quickly opened the door, and went to find Nini.
"Nini?" I said.
"In here." She said.
I followed her voice into the bathroom. I saw her sitting on the floor, her eyes puffy and tears streaming down her face. I could see that she was clutching onto a razor.
"Hey, I'm here. It's ok. Everything will be ok." I said, discreetly unwrapping her fingers around the razor, then placing it farther away from her.
"I'm sorry you have to deal with me." She said.
"What? You don't need to be sorry. You know I'd do anything for you." I reassured her.
"I'm a burden tho." She said.
"No you're not. You're not a burden." I told her.
She cried as I held her tight.
"Are your parents home? Do you want me to get them for you?" I asked.
"No they're on a business trip." She replied.
"Oh, do you want me to stay for the night?" I asked.
"Can you?" She asked looking up at me.
"Yes of course." I said.
We stayed quiet for a bit as I held her tight in my arms.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" I asked trying to distract her.
"Can we watch twilight?" She asked.
"Of course." I chuckled.
We slowly walked to the couch. I turned on the tv to twilight. Halfway through the movie, I turned to look at Nini who was fast asleep.
I carried her bridal style to her bed. As I laid her down, I kissed her forehead softly, then tucked her in.
I grabbed some pillows from the living room, then laid them on the floor to make a bed for myself.
I look up at Nini sleeping so peacefully. She looks like an angel. She's perfect. I'm so in love with this girl.
Hehe what do y'all think so far?
