AUTHOR POV

Awwwwwww! March, the beautiful month of March. The month seems to make everyone think of so many things, the last school month to be exact to our so called seniors.

It was bright sunny Thursday, March 29. Lisa and Pranpriya both wear a white polo with black ties and black pants. One wearing a new expensive outfit with its new pair of leather black shoes, while the other one wearing crumpled one accompanied by its broken shoes. Anyway, old or new, the more important is that they feel the same moment of pride. Pride, knowing that one graduated as the beaming pride of the family while the other one graduated with a pride of herself alone.

LISA POV

For most people, graduation is one of the memorable and the best day of their life. Many of this people may feel the overwhelming feeling as we approach the graduation, and for me, this way the day I can't forget, the day I was entirely broken inside out.

Knock.. knock... knock..

"Wait a minute"I said not knowing the person outside. I was trying to smooth my crumpled polo Kai given me early this morning for my graduation attire, well ofcourse he just got it yesterday from a thrift shop that only cost enough for our budget. A buy 1 take 1 promo.

"Oh hel- ." I stopped midway in shocked that both of my parents here. A lot of things come on my mind like

'What is my fault this time?'
'Are they going to tell me not to attend?'
Or maybe 'congratulations and we are so proud of you' scratch the last part since its really impossible.

"Dad, Mom, hello, please come i—-

"I want you out of our life Lisa, first thing tomorrow bring all your garbage with you (referring to all my things, sucks right?) and also find someone you can bring at stage to get your award, thats all we want to say"My dad said that made me stopped. I mean my whole world stop. I can't believe it.

"And ohhh, before I forgot, don't attend your twin celebration later or you better leave at that time because we don't need you here"My mom added that crushed what remained to my hopes that someday I'll have their love even just for a slightest chance.

And with that, they leave me, broken, devastated and no one to hold. I mean, even Ruby Jane didn't even great me congratulations when all I do was texting my futuristic plans and promising thoughts for her since yesterday.

Smiling like crazy, brushing my hair standing in front of my old mirror, questioning myself to where did I go wrong? Didn't I deserve Pranpriya gets? I mean we are twin, why its hard for them to give me equal?

My convocation robe was bought by Uncle Ji-Hwan and Aunt Eun-hye was the one who insists to bringing it, so when she saw what I am wearing, same with Kai, crumpled ones, she scolded us like why you both didn't go to our house before this and that etcetera etcetera, like a nagging mother and I love her for that.

Pranpriya with my parents must have left the house early for she is going to be the star of the night, I mean, she's Summa Cum Laude on our batch.

Everyone was lining up accompanied with their parents, while me, had no one, of course. Wearing my convocation robe, I just watched in sadness that everyone up front were walking with their parents as our graduation ceremony starts. What hurt me the most that even a single hi from my girlfriend, never happened. I don't know what I did wrong because all I can remember we didn't even fight.

"Hey Kid, smile and be proud, this is your day to prove that you can be who you are and not the one you are now"I was shocked but my eyes shed in tears. Uncle Ji-Hwan just finished walking Kai to his seat since his last name is Kim so probably he ran back to accompany me too. I don't know how to thank him. He always put himself in danger. What I mean since I was young then, he always save me. He's also the reason why I'm atleast staying at the Manoban's trying to earn my family's love but even years that passed it didn't happen.
