Told Tale: Cross species feast

"The smartest dragon with half of their torso in the rain", he spat.

"Where are you, come out and face me", they spun around at a dragon eye level.

"Down here stupid", he kicked one of the toes on their paw.

"Ouch! **that hurts", they shook their paw and looked down to a human "oh oh oh", the dragon recoiled "I didn't know you were human, I offer my humblest apologies".

"Get out of my way", he kicked the paw again.

"STOP! Tulip said dragons are supposed to be nice to humans now", their tone returned to anger.

"I do not care", Bjorn tried to kick it again but the dragon moved their paw up.

"Fine", the dragon said proudly "I'll move because I am such a nice dragon".

"Stupidly nice", Bjorn scoffed.

"STOP! You are such an infuriating human", the dragon in the rain stomped their paw as the human diligently moved to the message box.

With a few clicks of the equipment his message was sent, he'd just needed now to wait for the week till the humans could pick up the grain. Bjorn sighed in relief, a bit of lost time dealing with this dragon but he could still fit in a hearty meal before his strictly scheduled sleep time. He stepped out to the dragon slowly sinking into mud with their scales drenched.

"There", Bjorn scoffed "you can go back into the box again".

"Where are you going", the dragon followed him with the side of their eye.

"Home", he went in its direction.

"Is it on the ground", they asked.

"What?!", Bjorn stopped mid step "you... you think I have wings" he spoke bewildered "of course it is on the ground" he waved his arms erratically.

"Well I've never seen a human try to fly so how would I know", the dragon rebutted.

The human shook his head while pinching then top of his nose, instead of commenting he shifted his heel and went along his way. Following the path memorized in his head, you could see the place from where they were but memorization of the hills and blockages was extra time saved.

"DRAGON! A part of tailing someone is that they don't know you are there", Bjorn cocked his head up to the dragon directly above him.

"Whatever", the dragon rolled their eyes.

"Uuughhh", he scoffed "why are you following me", he asked directly.

"The rain is too heavy to fly into my place", they pointed towards a hole in the rocky mountain near Bjorn's house "We're neighbors, I assumed you would be welcoming".

"No, you are not welcome", he said without hesitation.

"How are you planning to stop me", they opened their wing to emphasize their difference in size to the human.

"Till the rain stops", he said in fear.

"Yes, then lets go", the dragon clapped their paws together.

"One thing", the dragon nodded back enthusiastically "don't ever threaten me again", he kicked her paw making them yelp.

He placed the house at an ideal distance from the network station to avoid the stay human going out of their way to use it. It was now distressing to know that he had a neighbor, they may be a dragon but the annoyance will be the same. Anytime he was outside he now had to look out for them so that he could avoid the mindless small talk he would be put into. He'd also have to be prepared for the impromptu visits neighbors did to act 'welcoming'. In all aspects to his goals living out here, a neighbor was antithesis to his way of life.
