Jay was an interesting person , quite intimidating at first , but the moment he smiled he made everyone feel comfortable

Jake saw him few times before Iland, he was always with sunghoon and always stuck to the rules. *Don't talk to other trainees* .

They met for the first time on iland , jake being intimidated , decided to approach sunghoon first , he seemed more approachable, but the moment Jay opened his mouth , his brain screamed "JAY IS SO CUTE!"

Jay was a sunshine . He watched him from afar , unable to predict his actions. He was so energetic and expressive , jake didn't know what was that like . He always thought too much of things, unable to say or do what he actually wanted , afraid he'd hurt someone . That's why he was never able to initiate skin ship, even if Jay , his target, seemed to enjoy it , or at least never minded it

They debuted together, and jake wasn't able to wrap his head around Jay's mindset , They got closer , living under the same roof , spending 90% of their time around eachother. Their dorm was smaller than that of iland , tracking Jay wasn't so hard . He followed him around like a lost puppy, while already being close with most members , and close enough to bicker with Jay and tease him . It seemed like Jake still had more than just curiousity towards the older .

They moved dorms again, a slightly bigger one , enough to lessen the members per room .

-"Jay and Jake together" Heeseung anounced , and Jake's eyes widened , watching his and Jay's hand forming a rock . Jay approached him happily with pride "We got our own room !" He yelled happily, and Jake hugged him back , smile so wide

Night time came and everyone went to bed , Jay was showering after moving furniture here and there , and letting everyone get away with tricking him and showering before he did . Jake rolled over his bed , hugging his extra pillow tightly , he was going to sleep with jay , on separate beds , but in the same room . Only them . He kept thinking about it , it's nothing , they slept together many times , they were on iland together, they debuted together and were in the same room for almost a year , if not over it

*But this time it's only us* a voice echoed in the back of his head , making him roll more in his bed , missing Jay's arrival to the room.  He turned around to see Jay's bare chest facing him , he turned around yelling

-"Yo bro wtf !!" Jake covered his eyes , his whole face in fact

-"Oh sorry, i forgot my towel on the bed, I'll just take it " Jay looked down at him , then reached again to his bed , Jake stared for a hot second then rolled on his side , hiding the color on his face

-"You couldn't sleep?" Jay spoke , walking away from the beds "you keep rolling".

-"Yeah" Jake replied , not even looking back at Jay

-"Uhum , it's a new place it's okay to struggle to sleep" Jay hummed , understanding

-silence-

-"were you always built like th- ?" Jake turned , Jay was again climbing to his bed "FFS CAN YOU TELL ME BEFORE YOU GET THIS CLOSE?" he yelled

-"I thought you slept !" Jay yelled beck , very surprised himself

-"I didn't!" Jake turned again to his side "just go and sleep " he mumbled pulling the covers over his head . He heard Jay laugh and felt the beds shake , he's climbing up again . Then silence

Jake's eyes were pinned on Jay's bunk on top of him , he was sleeping on top of him . Jay was sleeping in the same room as him , on top of him. Jake's mind went crazy , he remembered Jay's bare chest, for some reason, probably because he'd always perceived Jay as a cutie, he never expected Jay to have ... A man's body, very well shaped chest, and a slight hint of abs . Jay was working out a lot lately, and it's showing , and jake saw that on full display. His chest looked a little too built , a little too hard-
