NAOMI POV
"You look good." Nasir said looking up from his phone as I entered the living room.
"Thank ya thank ya, you ready?" I asked and he nodded standing up walking to the door. He opened the door motioning for me to go first and he followed behind. I pulled my
Phone out going to the apartment app locking the door."You gone ride wimme?" He asked and I shrugged.
"If you want me to yea, I don't mind." He didn't give me Ted Bundy vibes so I figured a car ride wouldn't hurt.
We walked outside and he walked to an all black track hawk Jeep truck. It was super nice, he had the track hawk thing on the side in red, and his interior was red lined. ( I know nothing about cars, use y'all imagination)
He opened the door for me and I got in, his car was really clean and it smelled good.
"Your car is really nice." I complimented as he got in the car starting the car up.
"Thankyou." He nodded turning the music up as we drove in a comfortable silence.
We pulled up this nice commercial building on the front it had all of the names of the businesses that was inside. Next door was some shopping stores and food places.
"I love this area."
"Yea and you gone love the inside too." He said confidently as we got out the car.
He opened the door for me and we entered the shop, there were about 4 people in there cutting hair as lil baby blasted on the speaker.
"Wassup boss." A bald guy greeted him as he cut a little kids hair. It was really clean and slick in here but really masculine like I said.
"That's you Nasir?" Another guy motioning towards me with raised eyebrows.
"Nah it ain't like that , she gone be the new nail tech in here y'all better not give her no problems either." He said seriously, leading me to a hall way full of doors.
"These are the private suites, that's where the tattoo artist work, dee is the loctician, and that's my suite I do tats time to time and then this room would be yours." He said unlocking and opening the door. The room was spacious with all white walls and grey hardwood floors.
It was really nice and slick in there. I walked in checking out the room. There was no holes or concerning things in there. There was a sink and counter in the corner of the room that was convenient for when I needed clients to wash their hands.
"It's really nice in here, how much?" Although I was hesitant at first, now seeing it in person it wasn't as bad as I was envisioning it being. And it would be nice not having people in my home everyday.
"Nothing." He said and I shook my head. I wanted to pay I didn't want anyone to feel like they gave me a hand out and hold that over my head. I've been down that road before and it didn't feel good.
"I'm gonna pay you Nasir, how much?"
"No you not, I make plenty money ion need yours." He said grabbing a set of keys from a cabinet in the room, handing them to me.
