Ricky's pov:
As Nini walked in, I could feel my heart break a little more. I could see her puffy eyes, even under her concealer. She didn't walk in with the same happy energy.
She was wearing her giant hoodie for some reason too, even though it was really hot out. I wonder why.
"Hey Neens!" I greeted her smiling.
"Hi" she said without even looking at me.
I really hate myself for hurting her.
"Ok let's run through act two today! Look alive people! We need to use every second of this rehearsal!" Ms Jenn exclaimed.
We tried running through it, but Nini spoke in a monotone voice, and my voice broke every 3 seconds.
"Ok stop! This is supposed to be a love scene! You two look sad and depressed. What is going on?" Ms Jenn asked.
"Sorry I-" I started.
"You know what, I don't want to know. But what happens outside of theatre, stays outside. You two need to get yourselves together and leave distractions outside the door as soon as you walk in!" Ms Jenn said.
"Sorry Ms Jenn." Nini said quietly.
"Ok let's just take a five everyone." Ms Jenn sighed.
I saw Nini walk out into the hallway, so I followed her.
"Nini!" I called out.
"What" she turned around.
"Look I'm sorry can we please-" I started.
"Just don't" she said walking away.
