Naomi POV

It was now 8 am I tiredly drove deciding I had drove far enough, I got off at an exit that brung me into a city. McDonald's, Chick fil A's, Waffle Houses and Walmarts all came into view letting me know I was somewhere down south.

I yawned pulling over into the nearest Walmart I saw. I needed a phone and I needed one fast. I grabbed my mask and sunglasses putting them on before entering the store. As soon as I entered the store all you could hear was people talking loudly with heavy accents.

I quickly made my way to the back of the store to the electronic department, avoiding eye contact with everyone even though I had on glasses. You never know who knows who and the last thing I needed was being found my Noah.

I looked around at the phones they had on display deciding on the 13 pro max. It was pricey but I hated little phones. I bought a phone case and service card before checking out.

"Oh my lawd, your hair is so pretty." The Cashier complimented in awe.

"Thankyou, yours is too I love the color." I smiled returning the compliment. She had her natural hair dyed red with a red ponytail in.

I left the store getting into the car, and my stomach growled letting me know I needed to eat. I waited a while and set my phone up, once it connected I went to my Apple Maps trying to find out what city and state I had ended up in.

Covington, GA

My stomach instantly turned at the idea of being somewhere so far away from home back in Michigan. But I know this is what I need, this is a fresh start for me.

Naomi POV

I sat on my bed in my new apartment lacing my heels straps up my leg. My skin glistened with oil, complimenting my complexion.

I stayed in a hotel for about 2 months and some change before I worked and saved enough to get my own place. I had been doing nails out of my hotel which was very hard to get away with. I had to use odorless products to contain the smell.

My first month here I literally got no clients which was very discouraging. I had felt like I did all of this for nothing, but after promoting on Facebook and Instagram I eventually started to see clientele roll in.

I was a fresh face with work they weren't used to, I feel like the north and south have different styles of nails so I didn't have a problem sticking out. I made sure to be as careful as I could with all social media's I posted no hints of my actual name and face.

I went by thenailguru (I'm pretty sure someone has this name, I didn't make this up so s/o to them)

I was getting ready to go out for the first time since I've been here I haven't been out and had any fun since I've been here. My mind has been focused on trying to heal and make money so I could be comfortable.

I was going to a nice day club one of my clients who I've grown very close with suggested. From the way she described it it seemed like a nice vibe.Being in the service industry you'll find yourself having very deep conversations with complete strangers, appointments were a safe haven for both parties.
