Chapter 18

Ricky's pov:
"Wait, I need to grab my backpack. I'll be right back." I  said.

I walked into the room and saw Lilly.

"Hi Richie!" She said.
"Hey Lilly. It's Ricky by the way." I answered.
"So what are you doing here?" She asked, twirling her hair.
"I'm just grabbing my backpack. Bye" I answered, as I grabbed my backpack and headed towards the door.

Lilly quickly walked to the door first, blocking my path.

"I like you Richie. You're cute." She said.
"Once again, it's Ricky. And I'm not interested." I told as, trying to leave.
"Why not? You have a girlfriend?" She asked, blocking my way again.
"Yeah, it's Nini." I told her.
"The little shy brunette? Please, you could do so much better, like me." She said.
"No thanks, I'm happy with Nini." I said, as I tried to leave, but once again she blocked me.
"Oh I think you'll change your mind after this." She said before she pressed her lips onto mine.

I tried to push her off, but man she's strong.

"Hey Ricky? Are-" I heard Nini said.

Lilly quickly turned around, finally letting me go, but it was too late. I had hurt Nini I could see her eyes watering, she looked at me in shock and pain.

"Wait, Nini I can explain! This isn't what it looks like!" I said.
"I don't want to hear it." She said, before she ran away.

"Nini!" I yelled as I ran after her, "Please, just let me explain."
"Explain what? What is there to talk about?" She yelled, finally stopping and turning around.

Her eyes were starting to get puffy, and she had tears streaming down her face. I hated seeing her like this. And even worse, I was the one that caused this.

"Lily kissed me! I didn't want to kiss her. She was blocking the door and not letting me leave, then she threw herself onto me!" I told Nini.
"You were kissing her back!!" She yelled.
"No I was trying to push her off of me!" I replied.
"WITH YOUR LIPS?" She yelled.
"YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO ME! IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT LILY AMBUSHED ME!" I yelled back.
"I DON'T CARE IF LILY AMBUSHED YOU! IT STILL DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO CHEAT ON ME!" She yelled.
"I DIDN'T CHEAT ON YOU! WE'RE NOT EVEN OFFICIAL ANYWAYS!" I yelled back louder.

I instantly regretted what I just said. I really didn't mean it. Whenever I get angry, I always take it way too far. 
I could see the look of pure hurt on Nini's face.

"Look Nini, I didn't mean it. I-" I started.
"Save it, I don't care anymore." She said as she walked away.

I really screwed up this time.
