Nini's pov:
"Ok people!! We have one more month before show time! We're on a tight schedule here!" Ms Jenn yelled, "no messing up! Let's run from top of act one"
"Um I still don't know how to run the equipment." Big Red said.
Ms. Jenn sighed, "Just do the best you can, ok? Top of act one everyone!"
"Aaahhh!" I screamed, as the big disco ball came flying right by me.
"Are you ok?" Ricky instantly asked.
"Yup, but maybe we shouldn't run with the equipment today?" I suggested.
"Nope! The show must go on! Just watch your heads everyone!" Ms Jenn yelled.
The rest of the rehearsals was even more chaotic. Gina fell out of her turns and almost twisted her ankle, Ricky accidentally ripped a pair of pants from one of his costumes, some keys on the piano broke, and a lot more stuff came flying.
Finally rehearsals were over. I was so excited for the date with Ricky. He told me he had something special planned.
"Finally we're done." Ricky said.
"Yeah, glad we survived that rehearsal! Ready for our date?" I replied.
"Wait, I need to grab my backpack. I'll be right back." Ricky said.
I scrolled on my phone for a bit. I watched a couple videos of cute cats. Soon, ten minutes has passed and Ricky still isn't back yet. Is he ok? I decided to go check on him.
"Hey Ricky? Are-" I immediately was shocked by what I saw.
Ricky was kissing Lilly.
"Wait, Nini I can explain! This isn't what it looks like!" Ricky said.
"I don't want to hear it." I said as I quickly turned around and ran away, hiding the tears streaming down my face.
