Distance, seeming like inches...

~Once-ler's POV~

Y/N was very distant form me after what happened. I'm unsure why, I'm sure I'm not that bad, right? They just rush off whenever I come into the room, and they don't even look at me. Did I do something wrong? Do they hate me?

"Hey, Beanpole. We got a problem." Yelled out The Lorax, panic filling his voice. Problem? What could it be?

When I arrived, I saw Y/N having a panic attack. "Holy- What happened?!" I asked the Lorax, Hugging Y/N in the process.

"They had a vision and have been panicked about it ever since. They told me all about it, and how your the main issue. They don't trust you, nor do they trust themselves to help fix it. Your going to destroy the forest, Beanpole..." The Lorax's voice seemed to just ring in my ear, all I saw was Y/N crying and whimpering. I didn't know what to do, so I just hugged them tight. In hopes I could help in any way. Anything I could do, I would do for them. "... So you need to pay attention- Beanpole are you even listening?"

"No, my ears started ringing, sorry..." I muttered, worried more about Y/N. How could he lecture me at a time like this? 

I rushed Y/N to the closest hospital, making sure that someone could help. She had to stay a couple nights because she had dislocated their rib and couldn't walk properly. It scared the living daylights out of me. What even happened in the vision? Was I really going to ruin the entire forest?
