Enid and Yoko had returned from their party an hour after to find you passed out on the floor with Wednesday's jacket under your head. Wednesday was sitting in your desk chair when her head whipped around to see who had entered your room without knocking.

"What happened to her?" Yoko asked. Enid pushed past her to rush over to your body and check if you were still alive.

"Don't be dramatic, Enid. She's alive, she just passed out."

Enid shot her roommate a glare. "And you didn't think to help her off the floor, or - oh i don't know - wake her up?"

Before Wednesday could say anything to her, you started to stir awake. The Addams girl stood up and walked towards the bedroom door.

"And where do you think you're going?" Enid asked her.

"I'm leaving. Let Y/n know to return my jacket when she has the time." were her parting words before she opened the door, stepped out and closed it behind her.

Enid looked back down to you, watching as your eyes slowly fluttered open. When they connected with Enid's blue irises, a sudden rush of worry so strong hit you that you ended up passing out again.

"Something tells me that whatever happened here has nothing to do with Wednesday," Yoko piped up. She was busying herself with cleaning up your mess you left behind, blowing out the candles so as to not set fire to your room.

With a sigh, Enid scooped your body up and carried you over to your bed. Wolf strength and all. She covered you up then grabbed Wednesday's jacket and placed it on the back of your chair.

"I'm going to talk to my roommate, see what really happened."

Enid left without another word, leaving behind a quiet click of the door as it shuts. Yoko waits for a minute or two before she turns to you and crosses her arms.

"She's gone, you can stop pretending," she says.

"Stupid vampire hearing." you grumble and sit up, holding your hand to your head as the headache from before returns.

"I'm surprised Enid didn't hear the shift in your heartbeat." Yoko announced.

"I think she was too worried whether her roommate did something to me or not." You say and then pull off the covers to stand up.

"Did you really faint?"

"Unfortunately, yes." you sit on your chair, ignoring the way your heart fluttered when Wednesday's jacket brushed your arm. You could smell her perfume that still clung to the item.

"What happened?" Yoko asked as she sat on her bed to face you.

"I was prepping the ritual my mom sent me. But before I could actually do anything Wednesday came by. Apparently Enid had sent her."

"She did." Yoko confirmed. "She told her before we left for the party. Wednesday was all set to head with us but then Enid sent her here."

"That little shit..." you hiss, no real animosity behind it.

"What happened next?"

You were now toying with the sleeve of Wednesday's jacket, keeping your eyes down as you recalled tonight's events.

"I invited her in and she saw my set up so she graciously offered to help me. Since she dabbles in witchcraft, I figured it wouldn't hurt to have the extra hands."

Yoko listened with rapt attention.

"Somehow the ritual worked because now I can feel other people's emotions." you suck in a deep breath before looking up to meet Yoko's eyes. Thankfully she had her sunglasses on so you weren't in direct eye contact with her.
