Ricky's pov:
It was finally Saturday! I arrived at the beach extra early.
A few minutes later, Nini arrived. She looked pale and was kinda stumbling towards me. I didn't think it was possible, but she looked thinner too, and not in a good way. She looked sick.
"Hey are you ok?" I asked worriedly, as she stumbled her way to me.
"Yeah I'm fine, why?" She replied, faking a smile.
I didn't want to push it so I decided to just ignore it. She would tell me if something is wrong, right?
"So, do you want to get ice cream?" I asked her.
"Uh I-I'm not really hungry." She said, almost looking scared.
"Oh ok." I replied.
"Maybe we can go swim?" She asked, quickly changing the subject.
"Yeah sure." I said.
As she stood up, she looked like she was about to faint. I was really worried now.
"Maybe we shouldn't swim. Are you ok Neens? Should I take you to the doctor?" I asked.
"No I'm fine I-" she said right before she collapsed.
Luckily I caught her before she hit the ground.
"Oh my gosh! Nini!" I yelled panicking.
I gently laid her on the sand, then checked for her pulse. Luckily it was steady. All I could do now is wait for her to wake up.
