After some time you had learned about the different jobs there were. There was the Runners, Builders, the cook, Slicers, Blood-Housers, Track-Hoes, Med-Jacks, Sloppers, etc. There was also a Second-in-Command and a First-in-Command.
Newt was Second-in-Command which you thought made him even more attractive. You loved a man who could take charge and not become an asshole. Newt seemed perfect in every way. You also noticed he had a limp but you didn't ask about it since it might be personal.
After some time, the tour of the place in which they called "The Glade", was finished.
"Now that the tour is over, I wanna tell you about the three simple rules we have. Very simple and easy to follow." Newt said.
You nodded your head and listened.
"First, do your part. If you give it your all and work hard, you won't run into any problems. Second, never ever harm another grader, that will result in being put in the pit or banishment, depends on how harsh it is. And lastly, never go beyond those walls, unless you're a runner."
He pointed at all the walls in every 4 directions. You had a sense of curiosity wondering what it might be like out there. Newt didn't say much about it but you could tell that he didn't like whatever was out there.
Whenever he talked about it, he would get a worried and disgusted face.
"Anyways, there's gonna be a bonfire tonight. We have one every month to celebrate the new greenie that comes. This month that's you. Anyways there's one more thing, you have to meet Alby. Our leader."
