For as long as she could remember, Savannah Silva wanted to be just like her father. She trained as much and as hard as she could to become the best specialist she could be. However, no matter how hard she tried, she was always in her adoptive brother's shadow. Don't get the story wrong, Savannah and Sky were as close as two people could be but the Silva girl was tired of being seen as his backup. She knew she had a lot more to give to the world.
And she was ready to prove it.
It was a new school year at Alfea and Savannah had plans to forge her own path. She began by requesting a new training partner, which surprised her father. Even though he was reluctant to allow it, Saul finally gave in. Savannah ignored the confused looks from Sky and Riven as she trained with other students. But despite all her efforts to separate herself from Alfea's best specialist, everyone still compared Savannah to Sky.
She was still trapped in his shadow.
The best way to describe how Savannah felt was frustrated. She knew it was going to be hard to make a name for herself, but she didn't think it would be impossible. And she never thought it would take the Burned Ones reappearing for her to get an opportunity to show what she was capable of.
Savannah was definitely in for a treat.
