Nini's pov:
Ok, so that just happened...
"Gi!" I yelled as I spotted Gina in the auditorium.
"Hey Neens!" She said running up to me, "what's up?"

I pulled her into the washroom.

"Um ok? Did something happen? Why are we in the washroom?" She asked confusingly.
"Me and Ricky almost kissed." I blurted out.
"WHAT?" She said, clearly in shock, "SPILL GIRL! NOW!"
"It was just an almost kiss, we didn't kiss" I laughed.
"Still! What happened?" She asked excitedly.

I filled her in about what happened, and Gina squealed excitedly.

"Yess so you do like him!" Gina said, pushing my shoulder gently.
"Fine yes I like Ricky, but that doesn't matter anyways, he probably doesn't like me back." I sighed.
"Girl you're either joking or blind. Have you seen the way he looks at you?" Gina replied.
"He might just be really polite." I said.
"Friends don't look at friends that way Neens! Eee I'm so excited, team Rini forever!" She squealed.
"Rini?" I asked.
"It's your ship name, duh." Gina replied.

I shake my head and head out of the washroom.

"Pizza time everyone!" Big Red yelled.

Ricky and me glanced at each other and shared a small laugh.

"He likes youuu" Gina whispered in my ear.

I shook my head and laughed it off. After dinner, we all took out our sleeping bags and laid them on the floor of the auditorium. I put mine close to Gina's and I saw Gina smirk as Ricky put his somewhat close to mine.
After a while of chitchat, Ms. Jenn sing-yelled "LIGHTS OUT", and turned off the lights.

A few hours later or tossing and turning, I still couldn't sleep. I decided to go out to the hallway so I don't wake anyone up. I sat down on a bench and scrolled on my phone for a bit.

"Hey, want some company?" A voice said.

I looked up and saw Ricky smiling at me.

"Hi, sure. Sorry did I wake you up?" I replied.
"Nah I couldn't sleep either." He said.
"So..."I chuckled awkwardly not knowing what to do, "what do you want to do?"

At this point we were just staring at each other, not breaking off eye contact. Our faces so close, I could hear him breathing.

"This" he said, as he closed the gap between our lips.

Remember to stay hydrated everyone!
