Ricky's pov:
I walked over to Nini.
"Heyy partner." I said.
Did I just say partner? What is wrong with me? Likely she didn't seem to mind and she just smiled at me.
"You wanna go find a room?" She asked.
"Yeah sure!" I replied.
We walked around the halls for a bit until we came across an unfamiliar dark room in the corner.
"Huh I've never seen this classroom here before." I said.
"Me neither." She replied.
"Well this is definitely not terrifying at all." I said sarcastically as I walked in.
We both stumble around trying to find a light switch.
"Aaaaaaahhh!" Nini suddenly screamed.
I looked around panicking.
"Nini?!" I yelled, looking for her.
"I'm right here." She said.
"Are you ok? What happened?" I asked her worried.
"I'm fine. False alarm, I just bumped into this skeleton thingy dangling from the ceiling. Sorry I scared you." She said, sounding a little embarrassed.
"No worries, it's fine. I'm just glad you're ok." I told her.
"On the bright side, I think I found the light switch." She said.
"Where?" I asked.
Suddenly the room lit up, and I could see again.
"This dangly thing next to the skeleton." She smiled.
"Looks like we're in an old science classroom." I said, looking around.
We stood there for silence in a bit.
"So do you want to run a scene?" She asked, breaking the silence.
"Sure. Act 3, scene 1?" I asked.
"Ok." She replied.
"Script or no script?" I asked.
"I don't care, what do you prefer?" She answered.
"I think I got this scene memorized." I replied.
"Ok let's start." She said as we put our scripts down.
"Remember in kindergarten, you'd meet a kid, know nothing about them, then ten seconds later you're best friends?" She started.
"Yeah?"
"Singing with you felt like that."
I stepped closer to her.
"I never thought about singing, that's for sure, until you." I said.
We were so close now I could hear her breathing. Her eyes looking up at mine, I decided to take a bold risk. I leaned in to connect our lips.
"Finally I found you guys!" Big Red yelled, as we were about to kiss, causing both me and Nini to jump backwards.
"Ms Jenn is ordering pizza. Is veggie pizza and plain pizza good?" He asked, clearly unaware that he just interrupted our moment.
"Wait plain pizza?" I asked confusingly.
"Um yeah, lots of people here have tons of dietary restrictions." Big Red said.
"Oh so one is just bread and sauce?"
"Yeah, but minus the sauce, cuz Ashlyn, Mia, Olivia, Paul, Julia, and Sam are allergic to tomatoes."
"Ah I see." I said making a weird face, causing Nini to chuckle.
"We're meeting in the auditorium in a couple of minutes by the way, so just head over when you're done your scene." Big Red said as he left.
"Well, we're done anyways. Wanna head back?" She said.
"Sure," I replied, "after you m'lady"
"Thanks" she lightly chuckled.
