I HUMMED AS I MOISTURIZED my skin looking at myself in the mirror with a smile.
"Are you done yet?" Geovanni spoke from the other side of the bathroom door & I laughed.
"Not yet, almost." I repeated & I heard his groan.
After the wedding & after party, we came back to the hotel & took showers, separately. He took one first & I then took one after him, because I take longer than he does.
"You said that 20 minutes ago." I heard him whine earning a smile from me.
"You'll survive." I chuckled.
"I don't think I will, I have abandonment issues." He huffed, then knocked once again on the bathroom door.
I am already dressed, I'm just teasing him for the fun of it.
"Come on E." He groaned as he continued knocking on the door.
Suddenly, he began beat boxing as he knocked on the door & I laughed at his foolishness.
"Seriously?!"
Finally, I opened the door & there he stood with an innocent smile on his face.
He wore a pair of black shorts & a white tank top with white socks on his feet. I wore a black oversized t- shirt & a pair of grey boy shorts with mismatched ankle socks on my feet.
Instantly, he wrapped his arms around my body & shoved his face into the crook of my neck, inhaling my scent.
He pulled away & grabbed my hand leading me out of the bathroom & into the room.
I checked the time on the clock on the nightstand & realized it's nearly 1 am.
He sat on the bed resting his back against the headboard & I sat beside him. Before I could blink, he pulled me onto his lap & laid his head on my chest earning a smile from me, his hands directly on my ass.
"You love this position, don't you?" I teased & he simply chuckled nodding his head.
"I like to hear your heartbeat, it's comforting." He spoke softly & the smile on my face grew, my heart fluttering at his words.
He lifted his head & just looked at me, he still had on his glasses so the light above us reflected off the clear glass.
"You're so beautiful." He complimented & I lowered my head placing a kiss on his lips.
