Nini's pov:
Friday after school...
Ok I'm freaking out over here. I have to spend 48 whole hours with Ricky Bowen. What if I do something embarrassing?
I ranted on and on to Kourtney.
"Don't worry girl. You got this! You'll be fine!" She reassured me.
"Thanks Kourt. I wish you could be there." I said.
"Sameee. I want to see all the tea." She replied.
"Haha," I said, "I gotta go, I still have to finish packing. Love you!"
"Love you more!" She said as she hung up.
"Nini! You better finish packing soon! You need to leave in 5 minutes or you're gonna be late!" Mamma C yelled.
"K I'm almost done!" I yelled back.
I frantically stuffed some clothes into my duffel bag. Then I ran downstairs.
The car ride to the school was filled with my moms asking if I had brought everything.
"Did you pack your toothbrush?" Mamma C asked.
"Yes" I answered.
"Did you pack enough clothes?" Mamma D asked.
"Yes." I replied.
"Did you-" Mamma C started.
"Yes mom." I interrupted, "I packed everything. Besides, it's only for two days!"
"Ok we're here. Call us if you need anything! We love you!" Mamma C said.
"Love you too! Bye!" I said.
I went inside and immediately saw Ricky Bowen. I guess he saw me too, because he instantly waved then jogged over.
"Hey Nini!" He greeted me.
"Hii Ricky!" I greeted him with a hug.
Did I just hug him? I don't know why I just did that! Oh no, what if he thinks I'm weird now!
I quickly pulled away. Then I scanned his face. I couldn't tell what he was feeling.
"Um sorry. Are you not a hugger?" I said embarrassed.
"No don't be sorry. I-I liked it." He replied.
I think we were staring at each other for at least 2 minutes looking like a doofus, until Gina suddenly snapped me back to reality.
"Nini!" She yelled as I turned around.
She waved me over.
"Hi Gi!" I said running up to her.
"Neens, did I just catch you being all flirty with Bowen?! THE Bowen that you said you didn't have a crush on?!" She squealed.
"Whaaat? I wasn't being flirty." I replied.
"Sure, try and convince yourself that." She smirked.
"Ok! Theatre people!" Ms Jenn exclaimed, slightly scaring all of us, "Gather around!"
"First we're gonna do some intense scene running. Go find the person you have the most scenes with and work with them." Ms Jenn said, "Find a room anywhere in the school to work on a scene. We have the whole school to ourselves!"
