Hajoon is easy to talk to. He offers to help Yuxin with her music, with him joking that he'll take over Haeun's job, to which his older sister rolls his eyes and pulls the middle finger at him. Yuxin finds that the picture of Lando in the back of her mind slowly fades away when she's with Hajoon, most likely because he provides her enough entertainment in order to distract her from those lingering feelings.
She doesn't talk to him for a couple of days as well ― Lando hasn't messaged, and neither has she. She knows that he's probably busy in preparation for the races, but before Camila entered the picture, he'd always make time to text.
She understands. But the pain in her chest doesn't get any better.
She finishes a couple more shows, Hajoon being in attendance for all of them. "You've got some free time," Haeun says. "Promotions are all done for now ― are you going to go somewhere?"
"We could go to the British GP. I'll take you," Yuxin tells Hajoon, who nods. "That would be fun."
"Yes, that would be fun." Haeun says, a teasing smile on her lips. Yuxin and Hajoon both look at her with a blank stare, and she simply shrugs, walking away to leave the two of them alone.
"I'll just... let him know we're there." she says, pulling her phone out to message Lando.
"You haven't talked to him in so long, Xinnie." he says, peering over her shoulder.
"Well, I am trying to get over him. Communication makes things... difficult." she replies, and Hajoon nods in understanding. "It's okay. I get it."
Yuxin sends the message, tucking her phone away back into her pocket.
"Yeah. We better get packing. The race is in a couple of days."
Hajoon nods, and Yuxin sighs. She hasn't seen Lando in weeks, or talked to him at all ― would it be weird if she just showed up after not talking to him at all? After all, they are good friends. He might be a little upset about it.
Hajoon, noticing the worried look on her face, places his hand on her shoulder. "It'll be fine, Xinnie. Don't worry about it."
