Rajveer and Abhimanyu were going around in KMA getting things ready for the welcome of the media people.
Rajveer: Abhi tumne saare cadets ko announce kar diya hai na ki sab ko formals me aana hai?
Abhimanyu: Ha bol diya hai Raj, par ek baar tum bhi bol dena, subah ki 2 classes hi honge aaj..phir sabko bol dena ki tayari me lag jaye!
Rajveer: Alright! Breakfast go gaya hoga sabka abhi tak, mera first year cadets ke sath 2nd wali class hai so I'll tell them. Ho sa ke toh Suri Ji ko bol dena kyunki unki second year cadets ke sath second wali class hai.
Abhimanyu: Theek hai, classes ke baad milte hai phir Raj! Orderlies ko maine sab samjha diya hai, jab tak humari classes chal rahi hai tab tak woh baki sab tayar kar denge..
Rajveer: Great! Chalo then apne classes karke milte hai..
Rajveer and Abhimanyu left to take their classes. After their classes were over, they instructed their cadets to get dresses for the occasion in formals and come help them in preparing the welcome.
Rajveer: Abhi! Yeh chairs kaha hai jo Brigadier Chandok ne kaha tha field me lagaye ke liye?!
Abhimanyu: Ha Raj woh humne Ali ko bola tah le aaye! Hum dekhte hai! Cadet Ali! Cadet Yudi!
Rajveer: ALI! YUDI! CHAIRS KAHA HAI FEILD ME?! JALDI SE LAGAO!
Rajveer was speeding up the process by shouting on top of his lungs. Everything was almost prepared, BC had got everyone dressed in formals as directed by the higher authorities, some instructions given to the academies were read out to all, the cadets as well as the faculties.
BC: Captain Rajveer! Tumhe chodke sab log tayar ho gaye hai! Even Captain Chauhan ne abhi jaake change kar liya! Captain Rajveer go and change immediately! Unhe aane me 30 mins ke aas paas hi baki hai!
Rajveer: Sir!
Rajveer ran to his room, he took out his uniform and kept it on the table. The door barged open and Naina cane inside. Rajveer looked at Naina for a moment, Naina smiled.
Rajveer: Naina jaldi se mere cupboard ke drawer me rakhe hue Vir Chakr ko nikal do!
Naina: Sir!
Rajveer took the uniform and went inside the room and changed, Naina was outside in the living room of his room. She took out the box containing the Vir Chakr and opened the box. She touched the Vir Chakr softly.
Rajveer: Ek din yeh tumhara bhi bann jayega Naina..mujhe poora wishvas hai!
Naina: Sir! Rajveer sir aap jaldi se lijiye aur peheniye, time jaye jaa raha hai!
Rajveer: Ha! Bas mai yeh neck tie pehen lu phir medal daalunga..
Rajveer was struggling in buttoning the cuffs of his shirt. Alekh came running to his room door.
Alekh: Sir! Woh log aane wale hai! Maybe 15 mins more! Brigadier Chandok ne aapko jaldi se bulaya hai!
Rajveer: Theek hai mai aa raha hu!
Rajveer had finished buttoning the cuffs of his shirt and took the neck tie in his hands, Naina ran towards Rajveer and started attacking the medal on his shirt. Soon Rajveer was ready.
Rajveer: Thank you Cadet Naina Ah Singh! Ab chalte hai! Chalo!
Naina: Uh Sir! Aap apni topi pehenna bhool gaye! Aise kaise jaa sakte hai aap?! Lijiye!
Naina handed over the cap to Rajveer and he adjusted it on his head. They came out and stood at their positions. Rajveer saw a plate next to him, it had flowers garlands on it.
Rajveer: Abhi! Yeh sab kya hai?!
Abhimanyu: unke welcome ke liye!
Rajveer: unka hum academy me welcome kar rahe hai kisi ki shaadi me nahi ki unhe phool pehnaye!
Abhimanyu: humne bhi yahi soocha tha par BC ne bola toh aur kuch kar nahi paya mai iss baat ka..
Rajveer: Toh yeh sab BC karenge na!
Abhimanyu: Raj, sorry to inform you but BC yaha nahi hai! Aur yeh sab kuch Raj tumhe apne haatho se karna hai!
Rajveer: Par kyu?!
Abhimanyu: isiliye kyunki yeh jo media wale aa rahe hai iss hi ki baat karne jaa rahe hai BC! And sab ko direct karke gaye hai ki tumhe yeh sab karna hoga, aur sirf tumhe hi karna hai! So all the best Raj! Mast shaadi ka scene lagega!
Abhimanyu started laughing! Rajveer was embarrassed to do this.
The mini bus came in which the media people had come in. Rajveer was ready to welcome them. Rajveer and Abhimanyu stepped forward and the door opened, people started to pour out, one by one and then came that one person seeing whom Rajveer was shocked.
Rajveer: (in his mind) K..Kab..Kabir..
He controlled himself, he reminded himself that he is Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat right now, the army officer who is currently representing the entire KMA to the media people! But hadn't Abhimanyu said that News99 people would be coming then how come KKN was there!
● FLASHBACK ●
Kabir was looking outside the window when he spotted the Ambala board, he was certain that Ambala doesn't come in the way of going to Bareli infact is quite the opposite side to going to Bareli! He looked around and saw that everyone was enjoying, he saw the government official who had come with them to guide them and leave them till the academy. Kabir excused himself from Manav and went near the officer.
Kabir: Excuse me, ek minute Sir, woh bahar ka raasta dekh ke maine ek baat notice ki hai ki yeh toh Bareli ka raasta nahi hai..yeh toh hum Ambala aa gaye hai..Ambala toh Bareli se totally opposite side me hai Delhi se..
Officer: Mr. Sharma, lagta hai aapko letter nahi mila tha ki aapke channel ki appointment Bareli wale Junior Leaders' academy ke jagah Kanchenchunga Military Academy me ho gayi hai..Ambala se kuch thodi si doori me hi hai yeh academy, 30 minutes me pahunch jayenge hum log..
Kabir: Oh koi baat nahi sir!
Kabir didn't know that KMA was where Rajveer had done his training from since Rajveer never took the name of his academy, everytime he used to speak about his experience in the academy, he never mentioned about his friends nor did he name the academy. He went back to sit, Manav smiled devilishly, Kabir understood that it was Manav who didn't let the letter reach him! He sat down next to him.
Manav: Kya hua Kabir Sahab? Koi dikkat ho rahi hai kya jo ki aap government officer se baat karne chale gaye the?
Kabir: Arre nahi nahi Manav bhai! Baat toh bas itni si hai ki kuch raaste ke baare me pooch raha tha!
Manav: Oh I see!
Kabir: Chaliye Manav bhai thoda soo jaiye, pata chala ki aapko waha military academy me neend nahi aa rahi ya phir galat time pe aur jagah pe neend aa gayi toh problem ho jayega!
Both Kabir and Manav smiled at each other, their hate for each other visible in their smile and eyes.

The officer who brought them came directly to Rajveer and handed over the list of the participants and the documents that were submitted by the KKN. Rajveer took the list and read the top most name, "Kabir Sharma".
