Daydreams: A Dreamland Award

Welcome everyone to the first ever Daydreams Awards! Unlike our larger contest held later in the year, this focuses on the shorter things in life.

That's right, we want your short stories and poems!

Over the coming weeks, a team of judges will be reading your submitted works and digging into them to find what they collectively consider the best. We've separated it out into three categories that will be explained shortly.

Unlike our yearly Dreamies, this will be open to all people across Wattpad, not just our Dreamers. Maybe you'll stick around after and come see what else we have, I'm positive you'll enjoy it.

If you're new here, you may have some questions about us as a community. Most of the information can be found on this profile in our Dreamland Outreach: Community Book as well as on our main account DreamlandCommunity. Let me give you a quick overview anyway.

Dreamland Community is a place for both readers and writers to grow, make friends and connections and enhance their experience on Wattpad. On our Outreach account you'll find our activities like contests, our anthology, our reading list collectives, debates and our brand new summer reading challenge! Our book clubs, graphics shop and review shop are over on the main account so give those a look if you're in need of any feedback for your own writing.

We also have a Discord where we hold several weekly and monthly events as well as giving advance notice of any changes coming or events we'd like to start. This is where both the summer reading challenge and this contest were thought up and talked out with both our admin team and members of the community. So if you want to be on the ground floor and throw your voice into the mix come join us!
