Sehun was furious, but he smiled when he saw how stubborn Lisa was being.
"Jungkook's so rich, can't you just live off of him? Why are you still working?"
"That doesn't have anything to do with money. I want to be independent. I'm a person, not someone's accessory."
"You always have your reasons, even if they don't make sense. Why does a woman like you exist? You're so weird it's scary, and you're as stubborn as a cow. Plus, you're super disobedient."
After Sehun gave Lisa a talking to, he turned around to leave...
Lisa's mouth twitched. Then, she got up as well and went back to work in her office...
– Twenty minutes later –
Sehun opened the door to Lisa's office and placed something on her desk.
"Eat this."
Lisa glanced at the food – it was vegetable congee and corn patties, all good for the stomach.
"Did you... poison this?" Lisa thought it was weird that Sehun was being so nice to her.
"I poured arsenic in here, why? Do you have the guts to eat it?" Sehun smiled as he took off the lid of the congee bowl.
Then, he pushed it in front of Lisa. "If your stomach isn't good, you need to take care of yourself. How can you forget to eat? Are you an idiot?"
"You're the idiot," Lisa refuted.
"Yeah, I'm the idiot. Eat up and stop with the nonsense."
Then, he grabbed Lisa's documents and placed them aside...
He sat across from Lisa and watched as she ate.
Lisa took sip after sip under Sehun's gaze. She drank the congee and ate some corn patties.
Her stomach felt much better and warmer, and no longer growled in pain...
"Sehun."
"What?"
"Why are you being so nice to me?" Lisa asked, word for word.
"Do I have to have a reason to be nice?" Sehun laughed as he looked at Lisa.
"Of course you do, no one will be nice to another person for no reason. Everything happens for a reason, or you can say that there's a motive behind every action."
"A motive? Haha... just think of it as my attempt of sucking up to you so you will help me deal with that old hag. That's why I'm being nice to you."
Sehun's smile seemed to have another layer of meanings...
Lisa fell silent...
After a while, she responded, "I will deal with Mr. Oh on my own. I decided to seek revenge when he shamelessly put my mom's life in jeopardy by trying to demolish our house. I also want to punish that arrogant mistress of his."
"That's a good thing, we're finally partners in crime."
"I don't want to be your partner, I want to deal with them myself. I have my ways," Lisa said arrogantly.
"Okay, okay, fine, you're the best."
Just then, Sehun got a phone call. He then got up. "I'm going to go now, take care of yourself. You're not made of metal. If I hear that your gastritis relapse again, I'm going to whip you."
Lisa, "-_-"
Was he crazy? Did he want to whip her? What kind of logic was that? All in all, Sehun was definitely a big creep.
