P.S. Weasley said you can change this letter to Braille with magic but in the event April is reading this out loud then stop reading to Ominis right now (I mean it) because my god, Gryffindor, I really need you to tell me if you're sleeping with Sebastian. It is Sebastian you've been sleeping with, right? Don't tell me you're back with Thiago. I like him....Help a girl out? Anyway - write me! Visit me! Let's get a drink. Ominis, if you're still reading this, sorry for the girl talk but the two of you are inseparable. Also come coach with me, dummy. We need you.

Afternoon delivery from the Office of Professor Aesop Sharp:

Good afternoon, Snidgett,

Thank you for your note. It was heartening to read. I was also glad to have had the excuse to say hello to Mister Gaunt when he delivered it to me.

You know I have grown fond of you over the years. To know you truly think of me as a kind of father is a great compliment. Of course my inclination is to correct your use of such a word as 'dad' so cavalierly but, selfishly, I don't dislike the feeling of it. Additionally, you have made an excellent point about the passing of time insofar as our relationship is concerned. I will think about the potential continued use of the word.

You are an extraordinary young woman, April, and the unexpected addition of you at this late point in my life has been a lucky one, indeed. Seeing as I am confident in your knowledge of my affection, I will not write it here lest there be any prying eyes.

Sincerely,
(Oh, alright...) Sharpie

Afternoon delivery from the Office of Headmistress Matilda Weasley:

Professor Collins,

First and foremost, do accept my apologies for not being more attentive to you at the start of your first year at Hogwarts. The duties of Headmistress have required far more of me than I had anticipated, especially insofar as our former Headmaster's ...loose ends and lack of attention to detail have been concerned. Though, I had heard rave reviews from the students (of course) until your momentary sabbatical. That said, I have never been worried about your success here.

Both Professor Braga and Kai have stepped up well! You have a talent for surrounding yourself with good people, Mis Collins. Hogwarts has benefitted from that, and the small circle you have kept around your, shall we say, remarkable talents.

I am delighted to hear your efforts with Mister Gaunt are as successful as you had hoped. Do you have an estimate as to when you might feel comfortable for me to visit, again?

On that note, I wish to express my apologies to you yet again for having invaded your space so hastily. I should have paused to listen. The best leaders rely on the voices of their team and I am ashamed to say I forgot that valuable lesson in my haste.

Do call upon me should you need anything. Until then, I'll assume no news is good news.

Your friend,
Headmistress Matilda Weasley
