Virion Lewyin

We were marching towards our next location, which was north, still along the border of the Elven Kingdom, I was holding Sylvie's hand, and what was left of our force was behind us. I placed Melody in charge because they all seemed to like her, and she was smart, so it was a win, win.

She would never be Callias though, the first friend I made that had no connection to Arthur, he was my first friend in the dungeons. Callias was older than me, but that never mattered, he treated me like any ordinary person.

"Lance Virion, how much longer?" Melody asked from behind me, even though I told her to drop the Lance, she won't, she feels responsible to call me that. I know she was trying to do her best to be Callias's replacement, but she was struggling herself, the two of them were friends.

"A day or two probably." We were about fifteen to twenty miles out from the next camp, my clones couldn't find a closer one, and this one had over a thousand soldiers, so we will be able to handle it. "We'll probably have to take a break at some point today, the soldiers can't walk all night."

She didn't respond, knowing that was true, Sylvie spoke up. "How are you feeling?" I rolled my eyes; she's been asking me that so much. "Don't roll your eyes at me."

"Haha." I laughed. "Jeez, it's already like we are a married couple." I bumped into her side, causing her face to get redder. "Sylvie, I'm fine, you don't need to keep asking me how I am." Callias's death only reminded me that anyone could die at any moment.

"I worry about you, I'm allowed too." She looked at me with her golden eyes. "So don't you tell me to stop."

"Fine, I won't." We both smiled, looking ahead, trees and bushes were everywhere. "And just so you know, I worry about you as well." If something happened to Sylvie, before I would have just been mad, but now that I feel this way towards her, I'm afraid for this world.

"Lance Virion, if we want to keep going tonight, I think we should set up camp here for a couple of hours, then move on later tonight." Melody suggested, causing Sylvie and I to stop, which stopped everyone.

It wasn't a bad idea. "Alright, that's fine with me." I told her, and she nodded, spun around, and began giving orders. "Charley, right here should be fine." Our guard named Charley walked up to us, and placed the tent in his possession where I was pointing at.

"Here you go, Lance Virion." He said as he bowed.

"Thank you." Sylvie and I both responded as we walked into the tent, I placed our bed down, and the desk. "I wish everyone was white core, I am not even tired, my energy is high."

"Well, not everyone is you, so, don't complain." Sylvie said as she sat down on my bed. I knew that, all I said was that I wished everyone was white core. "I think I may rest a little."

I sat on my desk and looked at her. "Go ahead, I'm not tired enough to rest, I'll probably just think on a few things." I told her with smile as she leaned over and placed her head on the one pillow.

"Oh, that's not good, you thinking." She said as she looked up at me, I shook my head. "Don't over think anything, you know you tend to do that."

"Tch, my over thinking has done nothing but lead to victories, I am a master strategist." Maybe not master, but I was decent at coming up with plans, of course my curse one didn't really work, but it would have if it wasn't for getting caught. "Go to sleep." I stood up and sat down at the chair I brought out of my mana ring.

Sylvie rolled over, and I went into my thoughts. I really didn't know when the attack on the wall happened, but it should be soon, that is if it happens, what if things changed. I mean think about it, the wall is where Arthur confesses to Tess, he did it already at the Floating Castle, but I guess that doesn't affect the horde coming for the Wall.
