Four months later
Camri's P.O.V
It's been 4 months since Cory and I had our first date. We've been kicking it since. We haven't put an official title on anything yet , but that's mine. I was at work at the nurses station filling out some paperwork. My day was coming to an end and I was just ready to shower and lay up.
Cory ❤️ : you want me to pick you up ?
Me : yes please.
Cory ❤️ : okay baby I'll be outside.
I locked my phone and finished up my reports. My truck was in the shop being serviced so I ubered this morning. Cory called me on my lunch break whining cause I didn't ask him to drive me. He knows how I am though , I'm used to doing everything on my own.
"Hey Camri before you go , 306 asked for you." My coworker Lisa mentioned.
"Thanks , I told her I'd check in on her before I left." I sighed getting up from my seat. I walked to the office to file my reports and then headed to my last patient for the day.
"Hi Miss Leslie." I greeted my patient.
"What I tell you bout that miss stuff , I'm pretty sure you're older then me." She chuckled.
"Sorry it's a habit. Let me check you out before I go , you need anything ?" I asked as I started checking her vitals and pressure.
"No I just wanted to see you before you go cause you're the nicest nurse on the floor." She rolled her eyes.
"I don't understand why people get a job they hate." I chuckled. "You're all good babe , I'll see you tomorrow morning. You relax that baby." I grinned.
I marked her chart with her information and walked out the room. I originally went to school to become a pediatric nurse but I somehow ended up in labor and delivery , which I don't mind either. I walked to the locker room to grab my bags and headed towards the elevator.
Cory ❤️ : I'm outside
Me : I'm coming.
I walked out the hospital and saw Cory waiting for me against his car. I walked over to him and jumped into his arms.
"Ima kick yo ass girl." He said into my ear.
"You didn't miss me?" I asked ignoring his statement while grinning. I kissed his lips a few times before letting him reply.
"You know I did , let's go." He said kissing me back before placing me on my feet. I got into the car and we took off.
"Baby , we going to my house or yours ?" I asked adjusting my seat.
"Yours , ion have no food and I want you to cook." He looked over at me. "If you feel like it baby." He added.
"That's fine I just need to shower first." I shrugged.
"Bet. Let me make this drop to the trap and then we going home." He spoke.
I pulled out my phone and went on Instagram. I scrolled throw my timeline for a few before checking my dm , my Bestfriend sent me some videos so I caught up on those.
"Baby I'll be right back lock the door." Cory said getting out the car.
I shook my head and locked the door. I didn't even realize we were here already.
I looked back in my phone and noticed I had a message request. I opened it and saw a profile I didn't recognize. I started reading the message and as soon I opened the thread a picture came thru. It was a girl and what I assumed was Cory. I couldn't see his face to tell.
